Greetings to all! I contacted Precision to replace the garage door seal which needed replacing. Chris arrived and assessed the situation and advised that replacing the garage door seal would not be a problem; however, there were other areas that needed to be addressed. Chris indicated that the garage door was great quality, but most of the parts were builder grade and clearly explained the benefits in replacing these parts. My wife and I did not want to spend almost $3K on the garage door because our home is less than four years old. But, if it would significantly reduce the LOUD opening and closing (our bedroom is over the garage), it would be well worth the extra expenditure. Jamal arrived to perform the installation and did a terrific job - nothing short of outstanding. The garage door opening and closing is MUCH QUIETER than before! He explained everything in detail and linked our mobile phones and remotes to the opener. WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED and look forward to Jamal assisting us with any future garage door issues!

Remembered seeing the Precision Garage Door logo on the side of the van that serviced my neighbor. The great reviews on the website helped me decide. The technician ("Ron") showed up on time and provided a general overview of the problem and showed me an estimate for repair. The work was professionally done, and completed within the promised time in very cold weather. I am pleased and will reach out if ever there is a need for garage door replacement/repair. Thank you!

When I called the Precision Garage Door company, the first person I spoke with gave me an appointment for the next day. I called back in a few minutes, however, to see what I needed to do to get a "same day" appointment (since that's what is advertised on the website). After my second call, I did, in fact, get a "same day" appointment, the tech was at our house within an hour... which was GREAT!!!, the job was explained and completed within 30 minutes, and the garage door seems to be working fine. So why 3 and not 5 stars???... Here's my issue - the cost for the work done was RIDICULOUSLY HIGH!!! Even as I'm writing this review, I could KICK MYSELF for paying!! We had very similar repairs done by this company in 2015 (i.e., replace the extension springs, pulleys, and cable wires) and the cost for this job was about $500.00. This time around (May 2023), however, the cost for this job was over $1300.00!!!... and that was the second/middle option!!! If I would have accepted and done everything the tech recommended, the cost would have been almost $2000.00!!! I showed the tech my 2015 receipt, kept asking questions about the price, and really tried to understand why the prices were so high... and although I never felt good about the prices, I eventually, gave in because we need our garage. So, just add this review to the many others that address the RIDICULOUSLY HIGH prices associated with the Precision Garage Door company... and be prepared to spend LOTS of money if you use this company!!! I will not use them for any repairs in the future.

Recently the spring broke on my one of my garage doors. I contacted Precision Garage Door of Frederick after reading positive reviews of them on Angi. When I contacted Precision Garage Door of Frederick they promptly scheduled a technician replace the spring and the garage door openers. The technician (Dakota) was very polite, professional, and precise. He listened carefully to my concerns and inspected both garage doors and the associated hardware. He showed me that my other garage door spring was not in good shape. He subsequently replaced the springs on both garage doors, installed new garage door openers, and replaced some hinges and other hardware. Dakota also replaced a broken glass panel on one of the garage doors. The garage door upgrade and repair project went very well. The new belt driven garage door openers are much quieter than the original chain driven door openers. I'm very pleased with Precision Garage Door of Frederick and highly recommend them!

I shopped around until I found Precision. The people were so nice and my estimate was very reasonable. Which I greatly appreciated because some of the quotes I received entailed selling an organ to get my garage door updated. I would strongly recommend Precision Garage!!

My service technician was Jay D Constantine. Whom asked me what I wanted repaired and then made some suggestions. Then provided a quote and then he got started. Since it was late in the day I tired to help him as much as he would let me. Which was not much, but I wanted him to get done so that he could end his long day of work. Jay was a great service tech and was great to have as technician for the repair.

Have used Precision for many years. Always a good experience. Technician Craig came to look at my situation and recommended replacing my garage door. He reviewed all my options. While ordering a custom door would probably be best, in today's world it may take a long time to receive. With Craig's advice I decided to order a new door in white color and paint it to match the neighbors in my community. Craig was a pleasure to work with and Precision continues to provide excellent service.

We called Precision because the garage door weren't working. We called in the morning, Chris B arrived a few hours later. He assessed the situation, walked us through the problems, and provided options for repair. Chris was Rady to do the repair right then. Our schedule did not permit that.
