My garage door was increasingly making a lot of noise when I used it although it was only 3 years old. The builder warranty had expired and even though everyone said it probably only needed to be lubricanted, I felt it was not something I wanted to personally do and it would be worth the money to have a professional examine the door. After much research I called Precision and was able to get same day service. The technician showed up at the appointment time and did a great job explaining the source of the increasing noise and options for resolution. He worked quickly and did a complete tune up on the system. The price seemed reasonable and I was given a “senior” discount which I really appreciated. I would recommend them!

I believe that the technician tried to overcharge my wife for a simple garage repair. 2 torsion springs needed to be replaced...the left one broken...gave 3 different repair estimates ranging from 23 hundred dollars to 19 hundred....the door is only 6 years old....said bearings were bad,tension wires and pullies defected...generally the steel door was bad....actually had another technician come out and replace the 2 springs and inspect door....door in good condition

Amazing service. Our garage door spring broke on a Friday afternoon and our technician, Chris B., was available on a Sunday morning — extremely quick response and professional technician. Not only did Chris come 30 mins before the set appointment window, he was very personable, patiently took the time to answer my questions, provided an inspection of the entire garage door area to assess any damages I did not catch and provided an educative breakdown of each component that needed fixing. Technician Austin A. came out to repair my garage door as it was problematic in raising and lowering the manual wooden garage door. He recommended that my garage door would need new hardware (springs, cables, guide wire, neoprene roller casters and etc.) to make it easier for me to raise and lower it with the mechanical improvements he would install. Now, my garage door works smooth and great and no more rumbling noisy sound it used to have when raising and lowering it. Austin A. was courteous, polite and is a true craftsman at his trade.
