August 18, 2026 Hello Precision Garage Door Evaluation Team: Today, I received Garage Door Service at my home, 1704 Golf Course Drive, in Bowie, Maryland. The Technician, Mr. Craig Taylor, was excellent in providing service and repairing our Garage Door Panel, which had malfunctioned. He reprogramed the panel and also fixed one of the remotes which he said may have caused the Garage Door problem of opening without being activated. After reprogramming the panel and then fixing the remote, Craig gave me some tips on how to maintain our Garage Door between routine visits by your company. Precision was recommended to us by my wife’s coworker, and I’m sure glad we called. Their customer service over the phone was excellent, and the repairman, Craig, was great - courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was so impressed with his work and demeanor that I asked him to inspect, and then service, our other garage door. No pressure sales tactics or subtle coercive language were used. The work on the first spoke volumes. When I need any garage door work in the future, I know the company I’ll be calling!

I checked your website and was impressed by the reviews and employee bios. Tyler and Tavon repaired the extension springs, cables and pulleys: also set up new keypad and remote. My garage door was installed 2 years ago by Precision. Never had a problem with it. This week the door would not go up so I called and explained the problem. We unplugged the system to get the door opened. Then we could not get it down. They could not send anyone out until the next day. The next day the repairman arrived on time. He saw the problem right away. He showed me what was causing the problem. He checked each way to control the door. He was extremely nice but professional. There was no charge for the service call. Technician Craig arrived on site within the time window provided. He diagnosed the problem with the opener wall pad and replaced the defective part. He also noticed that a spring on my other garage door was looking like it could break soon. I had him replace springs and pulleys for both garage doors. Finished in about an hour. He was very professional and displayed a great deal of knowledge about the products he services. Based on this experience, I will use Precision again if needed and can recommend them.

Greetings to all! I contacted Precision to replace the garage door seal which needed replacing. Chris arrived and assessed the situation and advised that replacing the garage door seal would not be a problem; however, there were other areas that needed to be addressed. Chris indicated that the garage door was great quality, but most of the parts were builder grade and clearly explained the benefits in replacing these parts. My wife and I did not want to spend almost $3K on the garage door because our home is less than four years old. But, if it would significantly reduce the LOUD opening and closing (our bedroom is over the garage), it would be well worth the extra expenditure. Jamal arrived to perform the installation and did a terrific job - nothing short of outstanding. The garage door opening and closing is MUCH QUIETER than before! He explained everything in detail and linked our mobile phones and remotes to the opener. WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED and look forward to Jamal assisting us with any future garage door issues!

On time, very friendly. Fixed the issue. I’m not confident it will be a long term fix however. When I initially called I was told the “come out” fee was $60. My total was $300 including $90 for a new generic remote and $200 for a “tune up” that took much less than an hour. What was included in the 60, why was it not on the bill? Also I prefer folks tell me as they do work what it will cost instead of a surprise. What work is included in the $60? Not clear.
