The work was ultimately completed correctly, and I appreciate the adjustment made after speaking with the office. I do want to share some feedback on the experience. The job did not proceed as smoothly as expected and required my active involvement to ensure the work matched what had been discussed and approved. This caused the installation to take significantly longer than necessary and made the process feel more like ongoing negotiation than straightforward execution. While the final outcome was resolved, the experience raised concerns around consistency, efficiency, and customer trust. Since the company asked for feedback, I felt it was important to share this so it can be addressed internally and help protect the company’s reputation. Robert (from Arbutus) was great!! He phoned to let me know he was on his way. He phoned to let me know when he arrived. My 20-year-old Garage door belt broke, and he gave me three options with pricing. He was honest, efficient, and very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

I actually called Gaithersburg. My expectations were not met. Jay was professional but we started on the wrong foot. I did not expect to need all the items he suggested. I thought he was overselling. That it's likely that one needs to replace more parts should have been mentioned when I first called. The price of the springs were higher than the highest range given to me. I could tell that Jay was annoyed. And thus, I did not feel good about the experience. A more realistic expectations about total price ( i.e. needing to replace multiple parts) would have made for a better experience. The live operator when I called was very important in choosing Precision.

JamalC. was assigned to fix my garage door bracket. He was very informative and fixed the broken bracket. My home warranty used another vendor (same name as the beltway) and they were dispatched twice and both times band-aid the issue so I decided to pay out of pocket to get it done correctly. I was thrilled and extremely happy with the outcome. JamalC was class act and highly recommend him.

From scheduling to the end, services were comprehensive and no attempts to provide unnecessary or unneeded services with costs VERY reasonable. I liked that you immediately emailed me the name and picture of the tech for safety reasons. The best part was the tech Elijah B. He was honest, pleasant with an obvious good work ethic. The technician, Rick was fantastic. He came on time and was very knowledgeable in his craft. He thoroughly explained my options for the job of replacing springs, cables, and rollers on a heavily used garage door. The install took less than an hour. The worspace was left very clean and all old parts were removed and disposed. Highly recommend the services of this wonderful company. I called as an emergency before 7am this morning, and the work was completed before 1 pm on the same day.
