Although the service was good it was VERY expensive, Over $500 for 2 new springs, rollers and cable on one door.... the parts cost about $150 max, the serviceman was only at my home one hour. I couldn't even get the $50 service charge credited. Merry Christmas

Barry and Gary came out the day prior to making the repair and gave a price of $300 to make the repair and service fee. While making the repair, Gary told me I would need to buy a part for $90. I was upset because they had quoted one price an then told me another. I am retired and single and went to the bank and took money out of my IRA account and had the check already made out. Barry was very professional and courteous and agreed to make the repair without the extra charge. Gary was rude and incompetent. So I have mixed review. I will stay with Precision and recommend to my neighbors and friends because of Bary and his willingness to make things right. But if Gary was the technician sent out, I would not purchase the service and would not recommend to friends, family and neighbors. Bary made the difference!

I found this company on line and read the reviews. I contacted Precision explaining my problems. The technician came and did everything that I wanted repaired and was such a gentleman. His knowledge and politeness,surprised me considering all the kind of people we meet for maintenance and repairs.

The service provided by Barry, JR and Cleveland was of the utmost in professionalism, knowledge and very courteous. I originally called Precision garage door repair because my door would not open. I was added to the schedule with a window from 8:00-12:00. I asked if the tech would call me before they arrived. I was told he would, however he didn't. He arrived around 11:15 and completed the job around 11:45. He mentioned that the garage door opener was installed poorly by Home Depot. He explained the problem was broken springs and some wire ...and quoted $565. It ended up being $585. I am confident everything was marked up,however I needed my garage door fixed because I had an appointment scheduled so I paid it. Alan doesn't seem to be a people person. He seemed irritated when I asked him several questions. Clearly when I am paying almost $600 I am going to ask questions. He gave my husband the same negative attitude when he spoke with him on the phone. He would probably be more successful not working with people if he is not a people person. In addition, if someone is not familiar with the parts of the garage door vs. garage door opener that was installed over 10 yrs. ago by the builder....it would be helpful for the tech to be patient and respond accordingly. While that is his area of expertise,he would feel the same way if he was dealing with something that he was not familiar with. Overall, I would not use their service again because of the unprofessional demeanor of the technician. It may have been a bad day...he may have just been grumpy and needed a hug ....I'm not sure but when you are in a service oriented business...the customer is the person you are serving and how you handle them can make or break your reputation. Finally , he used a square type of device to charge my account. He wasn't sure if it went through and I did not have time to check my account before he left because of several layers of security through the system. He wrote down my account number. I checked my account immediately after he left and I had been charged. I called the main office to inform them. Minutes later someone called back and said the tech just called and that he had charged my card again. He said he would refund it and send me a receipt which I thought was very professional. I will wait to see if my account is credited the duplicate charge.

I am so extremely pleased with the service performed by Derrick. The professionalism and technical abilities he demonstrated throughout the entire process (from scheduling to payment) were about the best of any company I have ever worked with. In an era when it seems everyone is out to keep the bottom line high without regard for developing a relationship with the customer and demonstrating commitment and pride for the work performed, working with Precision was like a breath of fresh air. Derrick spent a few moments assessing the issue and set to work repairing the problem. He also cleaned and fine tuned the track. To be honest, the doors have never run so quietly and smoothly as they do now. At the conclusion of doing the work, Derek mentioned a few things I could do to help maintain the doors and indicated the rollers may need to be replaced sometime in the next year or so. I elected to have him replace the rollers now, but did not feel any pressure to do so. It is hard to express just how very pleased I am with the service and the company! I will definitely use them again and would refer anyone to their company without any hesitation. Thank you.

Barry was on time, courteous, thorough and efficient. He identified the problem quickly (bad pulleys), changed them out, inspected the door and suggested easy maintenance steps I can take to keep things running smoothly. My door is now the quietest its been in years!
