Alan showed up 2 hours late. I contacted the main office 30 minutes after their scheduled window, she said he had a flat and would be there in an hour. 30 minutes later, Alan called and said he'd be there in an hour. Alan got out of his van and was on my property for less than a minute and said that the springs and entire system as well as door were shot and it would be cheaper for me to replace everything ($800 per door). I told him I wasn't in the position to buy 2 new garage doors and needed to do the minimum to get me through a few months and set aside money for replacements. He said $500-$600 and walked towards his van. He also said he wasn't going to charge me the "service fee." He would do me a favor and call it in as a sales call. Alan never removed a tool from his truck and was clearly uninterested in doing work on a Friday afternoon. I had an alternate, local contractor complete the repairs today. $65 cable and $65 trip charge, spring was still in good shape. Contractor said the door was at the end of its life, but should last about a year. I will be using them for the replacement, not Precision. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. It was a complete waste of a 1/2 day off work to wait for these jokers.

Barry is the BEST. He had been to my home multiple times over the years and always is prompt and explains what is going on and what my options are. He is competent and friendly making the repair process more comfortable.

I had one spring and wheel off the track on one of my doors. I called Precision Garage Doors because I had used the company before and their information was right on the wall near the remote opener. I did not expect to spend nearly $500 to repair the one side. But the technician replaced the springs, coils, and wheels on both sides of the garage door. I went to Lowe

I would recommend your company's services to others. When contacted to schedule an appointment, I was greeted with a friendly and courtesy assistant. I was given a time that fit my schedule. When Michael (Mike) C. the technician arrived, he was prompt and conducted his self in a professional manner. He services to repair my garage door opener went over and beyond the standard repair. He inspected the door opener,answered all questions, identified and made all repairs to the door opener in a polite and professional manner. I would recommend Precision and strongly recommend Mike.

The service was done within about an hour. Which was good. The technician showed up with in the designated appointment time. He diagnosed the problem and promptly went to work. He made good suggestions and now the garage door works much smoother then it has in the past. No problems.

I was grossly overcharged for this service! If I had the time to compare services and prices I would have selected another company. The only reason I selected this company was because you could come the same day and I needed to go to work. Perhaps I can gain some opinions on Faceboook and Twitter.

this is the second time I have used your company. Both times I was not present when the repair person came, but my wife was each time. The first time was a broken chain I think (2/11). The repair person sold a new motor. This time was a broken spring. In each case the cost was around $500. My preception is that I am being overcharged. I questioned both service calls and the repair stated that he made both repairs. At this point I will not used Precision again. I feel as if I have been overcharged. I think the reapirs would have been less expensive, but the sales were more profitable for the company.

Excellent service. Our door broke around 7pm on Friday, we found Precision online, called and got an appointment for Saturday morning. The repairman arrived within the quoted time frame. He was friendly, very efficient, and had our door fixed within an hour. I was impressed with this company from start to finish. I would highly recommend Precision to anyone who has issues with their garage door. So glad I found this company.

Called on a Sunday just to get your hours and the phone was answered....took our information, found a convenient time slot, sent a confirmation email with techs name and photo...this part could not be better. Barry C. showed up, explained everything (problem, solutions, time to repair, etc.), provided options and costs for each option and saw my level of interest so allowed me to see how the repairs were completed. He mentioned it would take about 30 minutes to complete the job. I decided to finish trimming two shrubs, because there is no way that job could be finished in 30 minutes. Well, I came back and he was down, WOW. He explained exactly what he did, which was exactly what he thought he would need to do. Barry C. was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. This part could not have been better. Overall, the experience was perfect. It costed more than I expected, but the warranty, technician skills and quality of the product; well worth money.

We had a new garage door installed by another company in March 2014 by August 2014 the ceiling support began to fall. After 8 days of attempts to get them to do an emergency service call we gave up. I searched on line and found wonderful reviews about Precision. A call was made and in less than 24 hours we had an appointment, knew exactly which tech would be making the repair. Very happy with new garage door opener. Barry did a Fantastic job. He's great. Friendly, knowledgeable and Professional. About 6 months after install, heard some noise - - thought we might need a possible tune-up. Barry came by to check it out. For some reason we could not replicate the sounds. Barry was at my home for 5 minutes. He was not going to charge me but apparently the bosses wife insisted. Cost me $50 for nothing. Barry was great! But upper management has some customer service issues.

2 years ago I had the garage door spring replaced by precision. Several days ago the spring broke. I called precision yesterday and a nice gentleman name Barry came out today. He explained to me the details of the work and what is covered in the warranty. He did a super job installing and getting the door properly balanced. I am very happy with the work that was done.

I received good service from the customer service personnel and the technician was prompt and friendly and assessed the problem. However, he did not have the equipment needed to make the repair so he has to come back tomorrow -- and I had to pay the $50 fee for the service call.
