I had one spring and wheel off the track on one of my doors. I called Precision Garage Doors because I had used the company before and their information was right on the wall near the remote opener. I did not expect to spend nearly $500 to repair the one side. But the technician replaced the springs, coils, and wheels on both sides of the garage door. I went to Lowe

I would recommend your company's services to others. When contacted to schedule an appointment, I was greeted with a friendly and courtesy assistant. I was given a time that fit my schedule. When Michael (Mike) C. the technician arrived, he was prompt and conducted his self in a professional manner. He services to repair my garage door opener went over and beyond the standard repair. He inspected the door opener,answered all questions, identified and made all repairs to the door opener in a polite and professional manner. I would recommend Precision and strongly recommend Mike.

The service was done within about an hour. Which was good. The technician showed up with in the designated appointment time. He diagnosed the problem and promptly went to work. He made good suggestions and now the garage door works much smoother then it has in the past. No problems.

I received good service from the customer service personnel and the technician was prompt and friendly and assessed the problem. However, he did not have the equipment needed to make the repair so he has to come back tomorrow -- and I had to pay the $50 fee for the service call.

I would like to thank Precision Overhead Doors for your excellent service in getting our garage door back up and functioning. Two days ago one of our springs broke and the door would not open. I call Precision Tuesday night and was able to get an appointment for Thursday afternoon. Alan came out, assessed the problem and within 30 minutes installed new heavy duty springs, checked all cables, adjusted the motor and lubricated all hinges making sure the garage door was functioning at optimal capacity. Alan was great and really made me feel at ease with his knowledge and expertise. I would recommend him and his associates for any garage work. Thanks again Alan. Respectfully, David Manuel

From first contact, Precision was the right choice...the woman who took my original call was very helpful and guaranteed that my tech would be there between 3-5, and Mike E was even early for my appointment. Once Mike E arrived, he was great to deal with, as he inspected the entire works of my garage door, tightening anything that looked like it would later be a problem. Job was done right, and I would highly recommend Precision, and particularly, Mike E !!

We contacted Precision and was able to get an appointment rather quickly. The bracket supporting the rear trackand spring had pulled out of the ceiling. Michael arrived on time and reviewed our situation. He had a challenge finding the stud to reattach the bracket but now it's mounted better than before. Good work Michael. We will absolutely recommend Precision to anyone in need of repair or new replacement.

I did not have the work performed. From the discussion with Melissa on the phone, despite my very clear description of my door and springs, and asking for an estimate she was intentionally vague and gave an estimate of $250 max. When the service staff member arrived (he was genuine - good guy and no fault of his) he said we recommend replacing both springs, which is what I wanted, at $190 each + a ball joint (?) so it will be $515... classic bait and switch... get in my house w/ vague phone quote of $250 and bump to $515 in person and I'll do it? NO! I will not have Precision door install the springs. Even if it SHOULD cost $600, if another vendor is honest with the estimate ON THE PHONE - 1ST CALL, I'll pay it. You guys are GOUGING people at $515... the springs shouldn't cost me any more than $88 (http://www.homedepot.com/s/garage%2520springs%2520.218?NCNI-5). I need two winding bars ($30) and some instructions...http://ddmgaragedoors.com/index.php Labor? $90 an hour. So the whole job shouldn't be more than $200 to $250 for 40 minutes work?

It is difficult for the person who answers the phone to see what is actually wrong with your door. Our technicians are trained to diagnose and repair the door. We certainly do not recommend any work that is not needed. As always, it is your decision to have the work completed. Excellent service! Timely, friendly, and competant... Michael called in advance to give me his estimated time of arrival. He was very detailed in his assessment. He performed the work in an expeditious manner. Before leaving, he performed a walk-thru with me of all services provided and showed me where my springs had worn down and one was broke. I will definitely use Precsion again!!

Mike C. did a quick and efficient job in adjusting the roller support rails as well as installing 2 longer, and more appropriate, end rollers. He analyzed the problem, new what to do, and did the work quickly. He was very courteous and explained what and why each thing he did was necessary. The reviews that I saw online made me feel comfortable about using your company. Mike did a great job. He was running behind but I got a call telling me that and I appreciated knowing that he would be a little late. He explained to me what had to be done and how much it would be. When he was finished, he alerted me to the fact that our runners were old and would probably have to be replaced at some point. I avoided a new service charge by just having him fix them right now. Mike was very pleasant and very professional. He is an asset to your company. The job was done within about 1 1/2 hours. Thanks. Pat
