Precision Garage Door Service did a repair on my garage door today. I had a broken torsion sping. This was the second time I have use their services, the time before was the other door and a problem with the sensors. I was very happy with the service, and with the professionalism of Rick, the technician. Most of all, I was happy at getting what I feel was a straightforward cost estimates with no gimmicks and a fair price. Dealing with some other companies has left me feeling like dealing with the 'used car salesman." I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service on the basis of my two experiences with them. Do describe your problem, or send pictures, and ask for a ballpark estimate before the technician comes out. Their online chat service was very helpful.

Wow...I am impressed with the customer service and care of this company. I received a call ahead that the technician was in route and he arrived within the timeframe given when I made the appointment. Upon arrival the Technician was Derrick who I knew in advance would be the one servicing our units. He diagnosed what the problem was and had to make a minor adjustment that solved the problem we were experiencing. I chose Precision because they installed for me a new garage door back in March 2015 and I was very happy with the fine job that was done. However, I was having a problem with the door closing; it would stall - come part of the way down and then go back up. The technician, Brian, was supposed to be at my home between 8 AM and 12 PM. He did not arrive until after 1:30 PM. I had to call back twice to confirm that he was still coming. But once he got here, he immediately identified the problem and was able to fix it. He explained to me the cause of the problem. I appreciated that and was relieved. Hopefully, we won't have that problem again. I appreciate that I was able to get an appointment on the same day that I called. Thank you!

This used to be the only garage door business I would deal with, so I have no idea what has happened. I have paid for two visits, the first (April 25th) I was told all I needed was lube (he didn't even do that) The second (May 16th), the technician made up three reasons for my issue... 1) a "jerker", 2) breaking in (over 5 years old), and 3) "sleep mode" (a total lie). I have now been charged for TWO visits, and my garage door STILL isn't repaired! Service performed: 1st time, absolutely NOTHING. Second time, 1 spring (of two) turned 1/2 turn.

The info in the ad in Google impressed me. Especially the spring expected lifetime. On Mothers Day, Mike was earlier than expected and finished in about 40 minutes with two cars stuck inside. The price was on the high end though.
