Nick was born and raised in the Baltimore area. He thoroughly enjoys his job as a door technician. Nick's multiple years of experience within the labor industry allow him to quickly problem solve while providing excellent customer service. In his free time, Nick enjoys traveling, video games, playing the drums, and watching Ravens football.
I received same day service and the technician, Nick, was very professional and detailed in his inspection and repairs. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything he recommended for the repair. I would definitely recommend this service and would use it again myself.

I called Precision Garage Door this morning to see when a technician would be available to come to my home to fix my garage door. I was scheduled to have a technician come to my home that same morning between 8 and 12. About 45 minutes after my initial call, I received a call from the technician Nick. Nick arrived at my home on time, and he was very professional and courteous. I showed Nick the issue that I was having with my garage door. Nick took the time to not only asses my immediate situation; but, he also just did an overall assessment of the garage door and all of the operations just to confirm that there were no other issues. After Nick completed his assessment, he presented me with all my options. I selected to just repair the garage door for now. Nick proceeded to do the repair work. Once he completed the work, he showed me everything that he did. He also confirmed that the garage door was still balanced, and that everything else with the door was in proper working order. I also appreciate Nick taking the time to answer all of my questions in great detail, his professionalism, his patience, and his courtesy. Thank you again Nick for fixing my issue, and keep up the good work. When I have a garage door issue, I know who I'm calling. Do you? LOL!!

We had a good experience with Precision. Nick arrived early (after calling first to ask if that would be ok) and inspected our garage door and opener. He explained what he saw as the problems and gave us a couple of options of how to proceed and the cost for each option. We made our decision and he got to work right away and had all the repair parts he needed on his truck. When done he explained everything he had done and we tested the door and opener thoroughly before he left. All is now working as it should.

This was my third time using Precision, and as usual, they did not disappoint. I called for just a regular tune-up service. Nick was our tech and he was professional and knowledgeable. I was his last appointment of the day and he had already had a long day, but he took time to point out and explain things to me and didn’t seem rushed at all. To tell you the truth, I have used precision doors once before years ago. This time I was passing one of your trucks with the easy way of contacting you via text message God made it so easy to contact the company and the response was pretty instantaneous. I was very pleased with that and the service was on time professional quickly done, and the technician whose name is Nick was very professional, pleasant and I was able to get a discount because I’m a senior citizen, he noted that I just needed to replace the springs and I do believe one pulley and like I said before the work was done very quickly and efficiently. I would recommend the company highly.

My garage door would not work, and we found out that what was needed was a new torsion spring. I called Precision Door Services, on Friday, and they told me their next availability was the next day Saturday. I informed the representatives, before I take the appointment, I need to know the cost of replacing a torsion spring. He did not seem to want to tell me the cost and said we will let you know when we get there. So I insisted that I know what needs to be done, and need to know the cost before I schedule the appointment, because I am also looking at another vendor and need to know the cost. He then told me you are looking at between $150 to $350 depending on if it is one or two springs that need to be replaced. So, imagine my confidence, knowing that I only need one replacement and it probably not going to cost me no more than $200.00 and therefore I agreed and scheduled the appointment. The technician came and saw the garage, long story short, he saw that there were two cars stuck in the garage, and it was Saturday 2pm, and we have been waiting for over a day for the service, and figured out he can take advantage of us, and gave us three different quotes that were all beyond what I was quoted. They quotes were BEST = $1,317, BETTER $ $1,105 and GOOD - $515. I informed him I did not need the top two options, because they have ridiculous and unnecessary things that any right mind person struggling in this economy should not be spending on a garage but will go with the lowest option and the price I was quoted for on the phone. He insisted this is all we can do. So, I was forced to go with the $515 option, because we needed to get the cars out of the garage. Had it been like other days, where we usually park one car outside, and it was also not a weekend and we had options, I would not have used their service. So, in short, unless it is the end of the world, and you cannot find anyone else to fix your garage problems, do not go with this company’s service, because it is morally wrong to take advantage of people that you see in circumstances that they don’t have many options for. And of course, after wards I learned how easy to is to replace a torsion spring found in Home Depot 1 $80 and two for $170 pay labor to someone from Angie’s or any other provider that is eager to earn money the right way.
