Derrick (Dee) has been with Precision Garage Doors, Inc. for many years. He began as a helper, then moved up to technician. He was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Maryland. Dee currently lives in Laurel, MD. He enjoys spending time with wife and children. The most important thing to Dee is being a daddy and spending time with his family. Precision was recommended by my home sales associate. The technician was on time, courteous and professional.. He was able to quickly determine the issue with the garage door openers, made the necessary repairs, lubricated the springs and pulleys. His ability to determine the problem so quickly speaks well of the company and I will use them once again should the need arise and recommend Precision to friends and family. Welldone.

Precision was able to setup an appt quickly to send out a tech for my malfunctioning garage door opener. He came out on a Sunday, which was very convenient for me. The tech called in advance and showed up on time. He was very friendly and resolved the opener issue in a matter of minutes (it was a minor issue). While he was there I had him replace our worn-out, noisy rollers, which he did very quickly and for a reasonable price. The door now opens so smoothly and quietly...it's like brand new. He also gave me some great advice/tips on keeping my door working smoothly. Will definitely use Precision again!

I called Precision Door Service when one of the cables broke on the garage door. After looking at some videos on how to replace it, I was thinking about just doing this myself, but in the end I decided to call the professionals, and I'm very glad that I did. The tech was very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job, and he went out of his way to fix some other things that were wrong (needed lube, etc). The garage door works really great now, it's much quieter and operates a lot more smoothly. Thanks very much!

New garage door and motor were installed in 2017. Water was coming in the garage on one side so I called and requested that a technician look at it. Derrick called my house to inform me he was on the way; however, I was on another call and didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. He called the cell and I didn't answer so he sent a text message. I truly appreciate that he was persistent. He replaced the rubber and I am hopeful that will resolve the problem. If not, Derrick requested that I please call and let him know. Excellent customer service.

I have dealt with Precision for over a 15 years. They are the go to for my garage door service. They have been exceptional. I have had my garage door replaced, my garage door opener replaced, had a keypad installed and had tune ups over the years. Just today I had the fob replaced after 10 years of service. My house is over 25 years old and we all know that the garage door opener and equipment is a wear and tear item that needs periodic maintenance. They are great.

I chose Precision based on internet ratings and reviews. I like that they provide pictures and profiles of people who perform the work. They came within the time range given and called to let me know they were 20 mins away before arrival. Derrick was very professional. He did and assessment of my system and provided me with options. Let me say that again. OPTIONS. We all love options. Derrick explained to me about the torsion spring, bearings, rollers, the noise from the opener. After making my selection he did a GREAT job with the repair. Derrick explained his work performed and the information he provided will make me reduce the unnecessary repetitive opening/closing we do. I'm very pleased with the work performed and I will recommend this company to anyone who needs the work done.
