Good morning! The first service I have had in 12/10/2010 done by Derrick, and that was excellent! This time Barry and Shawn were good also. After they left, my garage door is shutting down and re-opening by itself, without touching nothing, so I called in and talked with Ms. Amber and asked her that it is scary and dangerous and schedule an appointment to have some one come out and check it out what is wrong. After they will come out and find out, then I will let you know. Thanks! Kartik 9919 Harmony Lane Laurel, MD 20723 301-467-8838

Your technician, Sherman C-Stepney, did an excellent job in immediately diagnosing the problem with my garage door opener which turned out to be loose cables. He went about fixing the cables in a professional manner and answered all my questions. He made good recommendations on maintenance for the opener and the garage door. Best experience I have had in a while. The appointment was easy to set and they could do the next day. The Technician was on time, very friendly (even my dog liked him) and did an excellent job identifying an issue with the electrical outlet that required an electrician. No charge? Unbelievable.

Your service/account representative was professional and knowledgeable, however he had to make a second trip to my residence because he did not call me the first time to inform me that he was running behind. That caused me time and unfortunately money (had to leave my place of employment to return home).

Sherman was most helpful in assisting us in choosing a new garage door. He observed the low garage ceiling, explained why a wood door would not work, and suggested 2 other choices. He did push the most expensive option. He informed us and let us make our own decision.

Sherman, your garage door repair representative, called me this morning for the repair of the broken spring on my garage door. He stated he would be at my residence in 20 minutes & he was there before! He gets much more than 5 stars - 20, if I could give it to him. Sherman was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. I showed him where the spring had broken on my garage door and he advised that I should replace both springs for continuity of the operation of the door. I absolutely agreed. He walked through the steps he was going to take, how I needed to maintain the garage door for longevity , including oiling the springs and joints on the door. He was very thorough and I greatly appreciated that. Sherman is an asset to your company - he was respectful, prompt, courteous, friendly & informative. I will continue to use Precision if I have problems in the future and will refer to family & friends. Will definitely refer Sherman as an exceptional representative. Kudos to Precision for incredible staff!

So the original estimate was a great experience. I would give it 5 stars. The guy was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed straightforward regarding what would be needed to replace my garage door. I got the estimate and it was more or less competitive with the other estimate I had just received. Again, still 5 stars. But then I call them to ask a few questions and find out how early I could get the replacement scheduled and that I'd give 1 star. I called the only number they have (a 1888 number) and the "scheduling dispatch" while nice enough couldn't do anything for me.... He couldn't answer my question about the quote (he'd have to have someone call me back)... and he couldn't tell me how long it would take before I could have the door installed (i.e. the scheduling dispatch couldn't tell me when they could install the door that they priced for me... again, he'd have someone call me back). Of course at this point I am a bit frustrated and he has the nerve to ask "is there anything else I can do for you" again... he is still pleasant... but calling in was useless... there might as well just be an answering machine because he couldn't help me at all. Needless to say, I think I'm going to go with the other company.
