I've used a few contractors for different services being a homeowner. I also don't normally leave reviews, but I have to say my experience with precision doors was absolutely terrible. I had some work done to my garage door last year that included the cables, springs, and other parts. I used the garage door regularly everyday and initially was satisfied with the work. Last month, the cable snapped when I pulled into the garage. Luckily, the cable was under warranty since it was done by precision doors. The tech (Jake) came out and replaced the door under warranty. Here is wear that terrible customer service starts...the tech gets ready to leave with my garage door not closing. The tech has the nerve to say that the garage door never worked (even though I literally got his advice on how to manually open the garage door to get my car out). To further insult my intelligence, the tech states the work was shoddy and precision would never do it, insinuating that I got someone else to replace the garage door parts. It was the dumbest thing I heard, why would I pay 600+ dollars to replace parts that are already under warranty? It would be like me buying a new Toyota and having Jiffy Lube replace my engine and pay more out of pocket. To top things off, I want to get a tech to make sure my garage door is functioning properly since it's now making a loud noise. I was promised a senior tech, instead they wanted to again send Jake out. I would not recommend precision doors, I still was not able to get my issue resolved.

I am very pleased with Joe C's service last Friday. Joe showed up on time and was very professional and methodical in his approach to the task of resolving the garage door problem. Joe was fully covid-19 compliant as he wore his mask on arrival and throughout the repairs. He carefully explained the repairs that were done. His recommendations on maintenance were well received and will be adopted. Thanks for a job well done.

I noticed a mouse in our garage last week and realized that the bottom seal on our garage door was ripped off about 2 inches on both sides. Rick came out to the house today and inspected our door. Based on that, he recommended that I replace the rollers since our door was 19 years old and a noisy. Rick installed a new bottom seal and rollers - and everything works great! He also recommended a device to scare off any field mice that may want to try to get in again. Rick was great to work with, and I highly recommend him and Precision Door Service!

Precision had a tough job to do! Our car was stuck inside the garage, and despite having a foot of space to work in, they got the job done, AND in incredibly hot weather. He wore a mask at all times and was very respectful of our property and car.

Keith did emergency repair on our garage door. I called Precision on Monday evening after our spring broke. Keith was at our house on Tuesday afternoon to replace the spring. Our sensors were not working and Precision was able to come out to replace them. It was covered under the 5 yr warranty so no cost to us. Precision is our go to guys for our garage doors.

My garage would not open with door control on the wall after a thunderstorm. Precision, sent someone the same day I called even when they were all booked. Jake was very professional and efficient - great technician! Notwithstanding, I was a little taken aback with the total cost of repairs. Doing a quick Google search, replacement springs are approx. $25-45 for a set of 2 springs. I totally understand your position in the current market place. However, I would recommend a review of operations and production costs to bring down your price points. I paid a little over $900 for the replacement of 4 springs, cables, and rollers. I gave your company 4 stars based solely on customer service from first contact to my interactions with Jake. I would have easily given 5 stars if prices were more reasonable, in my opinion.
