I used Precision to install my garage openers when I purchased my home in 2020. They did an excellent job. So when my door gave me an error, I called them for service. They came out the next day and did a fantastic job explaining the error, how to fix it, and what to watch out for going forward. It was a thorough and educational experience. I find Precision very good at what they do and trustworthy.

We originally chose Precision a year ago to replace our old wooden garage door after reading multiple reviews of several companies. After meeting with Precision's representative, we felt that Precision was the best choice. The new door, track, and nylon rollers have been a great improvement, and wonderfully quiet compared to the original. That is important for us because the garage is located under part of our living quarters. The door has operated flawlessly up until recently, when the wall mounted openers started malfunctioning. We called yesterday for service, and first thing this morning Tavon was here to repair it. He determined that both wall openers needed replacing. While installing the replacements, he went over several things about the door with me that will help in the future, should the issue arise again. I was curious about why the door occasionally was slow going up and down, and Tavon explained that this is normal when the battery backup kicks in if the electricity goes off to the opener. Considering the storms and electrical interruptions that have occurred over the past month that have affected other items including our HVAC, I am glad we decided to have the battery back-up option added when we had the door installed last year. Although our service call today was a couple of weeks beyond the end of the warranty period, Tavon did not charge me because he felt that the wall openers should have lasted longer than they did. Now that is what I call service!

Austin is a very professional and knowledgeable contractor. Before he fixed my broken spring he checked over my entired garage system. I was shown some worn-out pieces that need to be replaced now or in the near future. Austin explained what could happen if I waited to long for the repairs so I agreed to change the parts. Overall, the service was okay. I was disappointed that the service repair man charged me an extra $200.00 for a tune up, which he said was required in order to replace the plain loop cable. I didn't feel like I had any other choice but to accept that charge because he told me that in order to replace the cable, that he had to loosen the tension on the garage spring and after replacing the cable, he had to tighten the spring, and this is considered a tune-up. I think this should have been considered a part of the job of replacing the cable. I'm still not sure how loosening the spring and tightening the spring can be considered a tune up, however, what could I say. Also, when the repairman was about to leave, he told me that I had to open the garage door manually, because the track was off and he did not have any track with him. After I told him that I had to use the garage door opener and I expected the repair to include correcting the problem, he fixed the track. If my situation wasn't an emergency, I would probably have gotten another estimate to be on the safe side, because when I got the first estimate, he recommended replacing everything with exception of the garage door, which he said would cost me over $1,500. I hope this is helpful.

Chris L. was the technician that replaced our garage door opener and also added struts to stiffen both doors. Installation of the replacement opener, original to home in 2006 was very easy and the rail and belt were reused because of a previous replacement. The service was performed by Tavon, who was courteous and knowledgeable. He even went back to the warehouse when he discovered that our door was larger than standard to get the appropriate cables made. And this was on Saturday when most are closed! Thank you Precision.

Reviewed my home setup and suggested a few options taking the time to explain the differences in warranties as well as product options. A spring on our garage door broke and the door failed to operate. Chris did a thorough analysis of the entire garage door system and recommended new springs, rollers, bearings, and other moving parts. He gave us an estimate within 15 minutes, and, after getting our approval, did a complete upgrade to the entire system within about 90 minutes. The garage door now works perfectly. We are very pleased with the entire experience and the end result. Chris and his co-worker did an outstanding job.

Ron C, the technician who came to our house today, was very professional, very polite and very thorough in his evaluation of our noisy garage door. He took time to show and explain things to me and was willing to perform the service today, but I declined due to the steep cost. I wasn't expecting to pay so much given we weren't replacing the whole garage door opener/system. After discussing it with my husband, we would like to get a 2nd opinion. I was very impressed with Ron however and give him 5 stars! He seems like a wonderful employee. :) Just thought your prices were really high.
