Precision was great as usual. This is the third time I have used them and did not think twice about who to call when the garage door became inoperable. I knew from experience that they would provide "straight talk", clear and concise diagnosis of the problem. The garage door spring was broken. I could have had another company that specializes in this particular mounting (at the suggestion of Barry), but the one year guarantee was for the existing mounting and Precision could install a newer spring system and give a five year guarantee. They not only fixed the spring system, but replaced the rollers and cables at no additional charge. I am known to my friends as the person who knows the best people for various services and Precision is the "Go To" company for garage door repairs.

Alan adjusted my photo sensor in a matter of minutes and recommended upgrading the springs for my garage door to avoid motor replacement. (Something to keep in mind ... door is not yet 3 yrs. old) He was extremely helpful. Appreciate the excellent service, Rev. Waddy

Barry arrived within the time window promised, and quickly diagnosed the problem that had been baffling us for months. The cost was lower than I expected, and he was done in 30 minutes. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I called on Thursday and made an appointment for Friday afternoon. The tech came close to 4, tried to sell us two springs instead of 1 and then said he didn't have the equipment to fix garage and could return Monday. My husband took off work on Friday, so he lost time at work, and we didn't have a working garage all weekend. Monday, the tech, Alan arrived also close to 4 and fixed the garage. He too offered 2 springs instead of one. He sympathized with me that Brian should have fixed it on Friday but didn't offer me any discount. I called the company main phone and got the $49 fee waived myself. The entire cost was $433 ($269 for the spring alone). I believe it was too high of a price to replace the spring and had we not already lost three days, we would have found someone else. I'm not pleased with the cost or initial service from this company.

Garage door spring broke last night and precision doors was able to come out and fix it today. The technician, Barry C. Was extremely courteous and quite knowledgeable. He readily explained every aspect of the problem and the job to me. He was efficient on the job and got it done within an hour. Barry really is a keeper - he even swept out the garage - pleasant surprise!! Here is the negative however; the price was really high - bottom line, serious mark up on parts. The only reason for 4 stars. Doing the work yourself can be dangerous, so ou pay the price. Despite that, I would call them again.

I called this company because of their rating on Angie's list, and was not disappointed. They appeared on time, the service agent was courteous and eager to explain the work necessary to repair the garage door. After he had completed the repair he again pointed out all of the work that he had completed. Am I satisfied? absolutely.

Our door would get stuck when opening. We were able to schedule a time quickly and actually got the same technician who repaired our door previously. We were informed when they were coming prior to their arrival. Barry fixed the problem and told us that we should have annual maintenance on our door because of the size of our door and because it has had to be repaired multiple times. We are very satisfied with the service we received.

I thought I was calling Clinton Garage Doors because they had repaired my springs at my previous home. At first, my scheduled time was for the date I called (1-2-13) between 1-3 pm, I thought, "Wow good service!" I received a call @ 12:20 stating that the repairman would be there the next day between 7-9am. I called my job and told my supervisor that I will be in around 10 or so. The repairman did not arrive until 9:45am only after I called your company to say that I did not receive a call from the repairman and asked if he was still coming. He then quoted me a price that I thought was too high (over $600)probably because I was already upset because of the tardiness. He told me that I had to get both springs even though only one was broken. He explained why both had to be replaced which made sense to me (at my other home, the repairperson only had to do one for around $100). I only went with Precision Doors because I was in a hurry to just get it fixed. I did apologized to the repairman for my attitude. My total experience was a 2 star. The work I give 4 star.

I am VERY disappointed with the experience I had. I was given an appointment time range between 10:00 am and 12:00. The technician arrived at 2:35. He walked to the garage door and as soon as I lowered the door, he said it would cost me $75.00. He sprayed some WD-40 and touched something on the garage door opener. I asked him repeatedly if that was going to fix the problem of the door going back up automatically instead of staying down when lowered. He said I needed to put WD-40 on it about every two weeks. I asked him what the $29.99 charge was for and was told that was just for him showing up. Before he drove away, I informed him that the door was still doing what I had originally made the call about. He then came back and lowered the door. It stayed down that time. He then told me that if I got tired of what it was doing I could call your company back and he would take $75.00 off the 500 dollar plus cost of replacing the motor. I feel that this was a rip-off. I still am not comfortable that my garage door will remain closed. I was charged 104 dollars for less than 10 minutes of service and the door is still not satisfactorily repaired. I will not contact this company again.
