Don't ask me why we didn't put in an opener before, but we've been manually opening and closing our double door since we build a garage. It was time to graduate. I called a number of local "specialists" and was surprised that all seemed to make a bigger deal out of this than it occurred. Worse, the others never seemed to know the answer to basic questions about equipment and price and had to refer questions to others. Some called back. Some didn't. And those who called back often didn't have answers or provided conflicting information with what I had received just hours (or sometimes days and sometimes longer) before. Precision was different. Knowledgeable, professional, clear. And, when they came to install the opener it was clear that they knew what they were doing. We still can't believe we waited this long but in the end it might actually have been worth the wait!

It is quite inconvenient when one's home garage door will not function! I was so pleased with the rapid, professional response to my problem. I called simply because I saw an ad online and took a chance. I called several companies in fact. I was pleased that a serviceman could be sent the next day and on a SATURDAY. He was very personable and gave me lots of helpful information & advice on caring for the various components of our two doors. I will definitely call again when the need arises and highly recommend Precision.

Wow!! Normally, I dont share comments about my experiences, but this time is different. This technician arrived on time, as promised. I was briefed on the source of the problem, proper maintenance of my garage door, and how I can prevent problems in the future. I knew nothing about my garage door except how to open and close it, electronically. Sherman explained everything, BEFORE, we discussed cost. Affordable cost, quality work, and a smoother running garage door (win-win). If I need this service in the future, this will be the first place I call....Please thank Sherman for his customer service and sharing his experience....I'm happy!

Excellent job by Barry! Great customer service! I like service people who repair but also teach you safe guards about your items. My garage door was functioning when I called. I just didn't like the way it was sounding like it was straining. I learned more about the mechanics about a garage door which made me happy about how I was so paranoid about how it was sounding. It had the wrong springs and support bolts that another company did. Now, the door goes up and down with little noise.

Keith did a first rate job of installing a new garage door opener at my home in Bethesda. He arrived at the beginning of the four hour "window" that Precision had agreed with me and completed the job in 45 minutes. He took all the discarded pieces of the garage door opener with him and gave me a 10 minute walk through on how to operate and maintain the system. A good guy, to boot. I have no hesitation in giving him a five star rating!

Precision quickly handled our garage door needs. The lift spring snapped and with a call to precision, they were able to send out a technician the following morning. Keith, the technician, called ahead of time, arrived with in the appointment window, and worked quickly to fix our garage door. He then took the time to explain how the spring system worked and how to take care of the door track over time. The price for parts and labor were extremely fair.

I give Precision and Keith, specifically, 5 stars. This is the third time in 5years we have used Precision, and it’s the second time in 3months Keith has responded to,our call. (I’m sure I chose Precision originally off Angie’s List. You probably offered a maintenance special through them. We had a company sticker in the garage that helped me to remember whom to call.). I very much appreciate the way the company tells you who is coming and gives you information about that person, including providing their picture. And I appreciate the marked trucks. Keith came to our home to install new openers just a few months ago, but my husband handled that call, so I had not met him and would not have recognized him. Keith was on time, he communicated with us about his arrival time, he knew exactly what was needed right away. But what I really appreciated was that he thought the broken mechanism might be under warranty and took the initiative to check for that, and indeed it was. I would not have known that—I didn’t even inquire. He could have charged me full price, and I wouldn’t have known the difference. So I appreciate his honesty and initiative on that. I had a problem with my garage door closing and scheduled a technician to come out for repair. Barry C. was the technician who promptly found the problem with a broken wire, and repaired it within minutes. I had expected to pay their minimum service call charge, but Barry felt with the time he spent on it didn't warrant a charge at all. I am very grateful to the kind of guy that doesn't put money above all else. I felt badly about not paying him anything but he was rather insistent that it remain a no charge item. I will be recommending the services of Precision Door and that especially of their technician Barry C., a stellar & affable guy. Thanks!
