We got into our car first thing in the morning in order to get to an appointment, and much to our dismay, found that our garage door would not open. It appeared that a cable had broken and there was no way for us to open it, even manually. When I googled "highest rated garage door repair companies near me", Precision Garage Door came up first. As soon as I called, I was greeted by a very kind and helpful customer service rep who told me the first available appointment would be the following day. When I explained that we could not get our car out of the garage and we had several commitments that day that we couldn't miss, she managed to squeeze us in for an emergency repair that same day. The technician that came out to service the door, Jay, was extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He immediately identified the problem and made the repair, all within less than 90 minutes. We've been in this house for 25 years and this is only the second time we've ever needed a garage door repair. But I can say in all honesty that should we need such a service again in the future, I would not hesitate to call Precision Garage Door nor would I hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know who is in need of garage door services. This is an outstanding company and it's easy to understand why they have such a phenomenal reputation and such a high rating. I can't say enough good things about them and appreciate how they helped us at a time when we really needed it.

Since it was late in the day I tired to help him as much as he would let me. Which was not much, but I wanted him to get done so that he could end his long day of work. Jay was our repairman, and it appears he did a great job. He installed new springs and cables and made some adjustments to align the door correctly and the donor's certainly quieter now. The repair/replacement seems a bit pricey to me, but these are "pricey times!" Jay was professional and a capable diplomat for Precision.

Had my garage door fail on the evening of July 4 and called precision. Talked with a real person, no menu, got a service call set for the next day at 10am and Jay arrived promptly at 10am. Had to convert to a new spring system as my old one clearly failed (was my guess the night before) and Jay was courteous, clear, encouraged me to ask questions, explained everything and made recommendations NOT to do some extra things that I asked due to cost\value.
