The technician, Ron, that came to the house was very personable and explained everything while he was trouble shooting the issue. It took him no time at all to figure out the issue and fix it. I would recommend him, and Precision to my friends and neighbors. Very satisfied with the overall service!

We were having problems with our door closing properly. While checking, I noticed the bracket attached to the drive chain had snapped. We contacted Precision, who had same day service. Within the hour, Brent arrived, asked about the age of the door, diagnosed the problem and recommended service. He explained everything. We are good to go with a safe garage door.

The work was ultimately completed correctly, and I appreciate the adjustment made after speaking with the office. I do want to share some feedback on the experience. The job did not proceed as smoothly as expected and required my active involvement to ensure the work matched what had been discussed and approved. This caused the installation to take significantly longer than necessary and made the process feel more like ongoing negotiation than straightforward execution. While the final outcome was resolved, the experience raised concerns around consistency, efficiency, and customer trust. Since the company asked for feedback, I felt it was important to share this so it can be addressed internally and help protect the company’s reputation. I would welcome the owner reaching out if further context would be helpful.

Technician Craig arrived on site within the time window provided. He diagnosed the problem with the opener wall pad and replaced the defective part. He also noticed that a spring on my other garage door was looking like it could break soon. I had him replace springs and pulleys for both garage doors. Finished in about an hour. He was very professional and displayed a great deal of knowledge about the products he services. Based on this experience, I will use Precision again if needed and can recommend them.

My wife looked at the invoice and was outraged at me for paying $175 an hour for the 30 mins required for your technician to replace our rubber garage door bottom 9ft [$20 per ft] weather strip. Overall cost excessive for repairs [Which we will note in our Washington Consumer Checkbook vendor survey].
