Alan was great! The door was off its track, stuck open, it was pouring down rain, and it was questionable as to whether he'd be able to reposition the track and wrangle the big door by himself without it falling on him, but he got right to work. In no time he was done! All fixed and better than before. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, personable, and competent. Sometimes it can be daunting to use a company you don't know in an emergency, but thanks to Alan's professionalism, we now have a go-to garage door company. Thanks.

I found Precision Door Service on Google. I was impressed by what I saw online. However I chose not to do business with them because of the unprofessional attitude the technician (Alan) displayed when he came out to inspect the garage door. I called Precision Door Service to request a tech to look at the door because of some minor damage to the door that was caused by the opener that wasn't installed correctly by the builders and over time it cause too much stress on the unsupported part of the door and consequently it was not closing all the way. When Alan came out to look at it he did not take the time to inspect it but instead he imediately tried to sell me a new door without any offering any other options. He said that he'd been doing this for quite a while and that the only option was to purchase a new door. I started asking questions about it because he didn't explain to my satisfaction his reasoning for recomending replacing the door and not trying to repair the door. As a result of that experience I chose another company to look at it and found out that all it required was to reinforce the the door so that the stress of the opener was placed on a more solid part of the door so that it could shut all the way. If this is the attitude of all of your technicians I think you should provide better training for your technicians so that in the future you won't lose business due to lack of training and professionalism.

I really was impressed with the same day service. I was given a window of time and before that time arrived I was telephoned to say that one of the techs called out due to the snow (12/10) but they still fit me in the schedule anyway, they just moved back the time. The tech Derrick was wonderful. He was very professional, knowlegeble and fast. I am just sorry that I did not use them to do the installation in the first place. I know for the future! The coil spring snapped last night. When I got home from my meeting and couldn't get the garage door to open, I went to check it out. The spring was broken. I called Precision's phone number expecting to get a recording, and a live person answered. I told her my problem, and she scheduled it for the next afternoon, in the time-slot I wanted. The service tech came out, and replace both springs in less than an hour. I was up and running in less than 24 hours. Thank you for great service.

The entire experience was professional from the first call until the technician left. We were literally locked in the garage unable to get to work and Mike arrived to save the day. We had previously used Overhead Doors and when we called them they couldn't find any of our records and said that someone would get back to us by noon. When Mike was pulling out of the driveway, job completed, Overhead was just calling us back for the first time. Snooze you lose.

We've called upon Precision three times now and each time we have had great service. This last time was for replacing the rubber seals at the bottom of two garage doors. Barry did a great job, was on time, and even called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He not only replaced the seals, but also took the time to lubricate the chains and all moving parts of the two doors. You are by far the best garage door service provider I have come across in a very long time. You provide prompt, responsive high quality service, and your technicians (at least the one who services my home garage) are courteous, know what they are doing (they demonstrate it over and over again each time they come to my home. Today for instance, the technician run the garage door, immediately spotted the problem, and fixed it at no charge - he said it was a simple matter of the something going onto something. Then he cut the cord, replaced it and was done in less than 10 minutes flat. Garage door is as silent and smooth as a baby. No fumbling around, no wasting time pretending to be doing a job he doesn't seem to understand, and no wasting my time with half-solutions. Led to believe the service would be 50 bucks. Obviously, I knew if parts were involved it would be more but 87 more bucks just to adjust the sensors is crazy.
