Jay called and was able to show up early. He determined the spring was was bad and promptly replaced the spring adjusted the tension, and opening/closing position of the door, lubricated the hinges and rollers. Jay was courteous and knew exactly what needed to be done ! I will not hesitate to call them if any of the other doors fail.

Your Technician Tavon was excellent !! He alerted us before arrival, arrived on time, explained the reason for the garage door not working as intended, and gave us an opportunity to consider his diagnosis and the need to replace the motors and the Belt Drive Garage Door Opener. We accepted his expert suggestion to replace the motors and the Belt Drive and he went ahead and did the job to our utmost satisfaction. He explained the workings of the newly replaced parts and the Garage Door Openers clearly. He was friendly, courteous, and very professional during the entire time he was doing the job. We have only very high and commendable words for Tavon. We wish him the very best with Precision Doors !!

I got called thru Angi's list, your call center called quickly and was very courtious but failed to mention there would be a service charge and was not very accurate with quotes he supplied. The service man was great, on time, knowledgeable, but also never mentioned the service charge until after he spent some time and his prices were hundreds of dollars more than the first call. As a result nothing got done and an average rating for personalities but a one star for prices.

I have called Precision before to fix a broken spring and they were fast and professional. This time I had an issue with the garage door seeming to open randomly on its own. Somehow it was on the same frequency as my neighbor but I didn't know how to troubleshoot the issue and I figured it was time to call the professionals. After making the appointment, I received a confirmation email informing me of the name of the tech who would be arriving and allowing me to see a photo of him beforehand so that I knew who I would be opening my door to when he arrived. Dakota was great. I received a phone call from him telling me he was on the way. Upon arrival, I told him what was happening; he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do fix it; informed me of the cost, and then got right to work. He also reprogrammed the remotes for all 3 of our vehicles and made sure they were working, and he was done in no time. If you need garage door service, Precision is who you need to call. I highly recommend them.

Brandon was my service technician. After arriving at my house, he went over my concerns and evaluated the problem. The problem with the garage door was created by a previous company who installed the door. Brandon came up with a solution to fix the problem. He also contacted his supervisor to run the problem and solution by him. I was very pleased with their solution. Brandon was very courteous and professional, and a great mechanic/technician. Brandon also had a helper that day. Please forgive me, I do not remember his name. He was also very professional and courteous.

I called Precision Garage Door this morning to see when a technician would be available to come to my home to fix my garage door. I was scheduled to have a technician come to my home that same morning between 8 and 12. About 45 minutes after my initial call, I received a call from the technician Nick. Nick arrived at my home on time, and he was very professional and courteous. I showed Nick the issue that I was having with my garage door. Nick took the time to not only asses my immediate situation; but, he also just did an overall assessment of the garage door and all of the operations just to confirm that there were no other issues. After Nick completed his assessment, he presented me with all my options. I selected to just repair the garage door for now. Nick proceeded to do the repair work. Once he completed the work, he showed me everything that he did. He also confirmed that the garage door was still balanced, and that everything else with the door was in proper working order. I also appreciate Nick taking the time to answer all of my questions in great detail, his professionalism, his patience, and his courtesy. Thank you again Nick for fixing my issue, and keep up the good work. When I have a garage door issue, I know who I'm calling. Do you? LOL!!

I have a seven year old garage door installation which creaked and groaned when traversing up and down. I scheduled a service appointment via telephone with the office and the technician came out on the day and time scheduled. Both interactions were professional. The rub is that the technician proposed two repair options at $2K+ and $1.7K+ essentially replacing all components except the actual door and opener (I paid $3K for the door and opener with installation). We declined these options and were offered a $250 "lube job" that would be considered a temporary Band-Aid. When that was declined we were advised that there would be a $60 service call fee. No one advised us that there would be a fee just to look at the door and, when asked, the technician pulled up the showed where the website states "free service call with repair" but was unable to show where a fee was clearly stated. We subsequently had another company come out who indicated that there was nothing that required replacement. He did lubed the door and made some adjustments which fixed the problem and charged us $150. Even when the $60 service call fee from Precision is added, we still made out $40 better and were not upsold an unnecessary $1.7K to $2K+ repair.

The technicians who came out (Kyler and Layne) get a 5 star review for politeness and professionalism. Kyler explained why I was having the issue and what needed to be done to fix. The overall 4 star review is because the quote over the phone when I described the problem was about 1/10th of what the repair for that issue actually cost.
