My experience with Precision is A1. Service call scheduled for first thing in morning after calling evening before. Tavon arrived on time and was a professional. He explained how garage doors work and pointed out what was wrong with ours. Wasn't expecting the cost for these repairs, but this is the first time garage needed anything in 20 years plus.... Especially since it is used an main entrance and exit to house. In two hours, garage door was tuned up, repaired and operating like new... hopefully for another 20 years.... Thank you Precision and Tavon !!

Another company told me it would cost more to use Precision but actually you had the better price! Instead of telling me the door was so old that the necessary part was unavailable he came up with a less expensive solution. They run smother then they did 6 years ago when installed.I went with the complete overhaul package and the doors are working great. I only called about one door with a broken spring.But my Wife and I thought both doors have had the same cycles so we decided to have both overhauled.FYI Have both doors done at the same time to save your self another broblem. Needed a broken spring replaced. Ended up with both door springs replaced due to age. A part broke on my 36 year old door opener and they couldn’t fix it. Had to buy a new opener. Ended up with a much higher bill than I thought when I was quoted a price. But the technician showed up within hours of calling and had everything fixed in a few hours. Excellent service and Jay C was very efficient and explained everything, including why my final invoice was so high. Will call again if needed but hopefully it will be a long time before I need anything replaced now.

Today we had the great pleasure of doing business with your technician Tavon A Flowers. Not only was he friendly and personable, but he was also very good at explaining the problems he found in addition to the main problem of the broken garage door spring and he explored with us the options for repair. He explained each option in great detail indicating the pros and cons of each for us to take into consideration for long term care of our garage door. He shared the price associated with each option and explained the Precision payment plan process. He even gave us some helpful tips for on-going maintenance. When we decided which option we wanted, he went about doing the requested repairs in a very timely fashion. Upon completion of the repairs, he cleaned up the work area, and reviewed everything with us making sure he had answered any questions we had about what he had done. Kudos to Tavon. Hopefully all of your technicians are as wonderful as he is. Thanks Tavon for a job well done.

Excellent Service, Chris inspected my garage door and suggested a garage door "Tune-Up" and explain in detail the service he would be performing. Now the door run much smoother and quieted. I have recommended Precision to others, and they were pleased with the service.

When I called the Precision Garage Door company, the first person I spoke with gave me an appointment for the next day. I called back in a few minutes, however, to see what I needed to do to get a "same day" appointment (since that's what is advertised on the website). After my second call, I did, in fact, get a "same day" appointment, the tech was at our house within an hour... which was GREAT!!!, the job was explained and completed within 30 minutes, and the garage door seems to be working fine. So why 3 and not 5 stars???... Here's my issue - the cost for the work done was RIDICULOUSLY HIGH!!! Even as I'm writing this review, I could KICK MYSELF for paying!! We had very similar repairs done by this company in 2015 (i.e., replace the extension springs, pulleys, and cable wires) and the cost for this job was about $500.00. This time around (May 2023), however, the cost for this job was over $1300.00!!!... and that was the second/middle option!!! If I would have accepted and done everything the tech recommended, the cost would have been almost $2000.00!!! I showed the tech my 2015 receipt, kept asking questions about the price, and really tried to understand why the prices were so high... and although I never felt good about the prices, I eventually, gave in because we need our garage. So, just add this review to the many others that address the RIDICULOUSLY HIGH prices associated with the Precision Garage Door company... and be prepared to spend LOTS of money if you use this company!!! I will not use them for any repairs in the future.
