Rick from Precision was the tech assigned to our job. He was on time, patient and professional throughout the service call. He did a great job explaining why our 20 year old garage door opener had failed and needed to be replaced. Rick provided me with three replacement options and explained the differences of each solution offered. Once we decided on the solution Rick was able to install the new unit right there and then. He was efficient in getting the install completed, did a great job cleaning up and took all the debris including the old opener with him. He then took the time to give me an overview of the operation of the new unit and answered all of my questions. I will call Precision and ask for Rick on all garage repairs moving forward. Excellent service.

The first time I used your company was last year. Keith C. came to repair my door. He told me exactly what was wrong. The previous owner hired someone that either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t care. Well, it was evident that Keith knew what he was doing and he cared about getting it done right. He’s an absolute professional and an asset to your company. Employees like him are hard to come by so my advice is do whatever it takes to keep him around. (I needed another repair a couple weeks ago and specifically requested him. Once again, great job on his part)

We were very pleased with the repairs and upgrade on our garage door. Your representative, Chris, was very well informed, clearly experienced with his craft, and patient with questions. The following should not be included in the review because it is a very minor criticism, but the phone jingle about garage doors that greets your callers sounded off-key and was repeated time after time after time while I waited to be connected. It probably does more to encourage clients to hang up rather than sell your product.

After spending $1,800 on new garage door apparatus, I can't sync the door opener to the buttons in my cars, even after hours of trying. I contacted the company immediately after the technician left, but never heard back. Just called to speak to owner or anyone else in charge, but was placed on hold for a long time. I'm thinking it was a mistake to deal with this company that doesn't seem to care about customer service.

Precision offered same day service which is why I called them. They also had good reviews. Sherman called when he was 15 minutes out ahead of my scheduled time for service. He provided excellent service. He explained what could be wrong and walked me through what he was going to check for. He then provided estimates with options for work and completed service replacement of my garage door end bearing brackets, tuned up and adjusted my door tracks' and unlocked the motor. Once done he showed me the parts that were removed and replaced and showed me what would be necessary to maintain my garage door moving forward. I would highly recommend them for any garage services you may have.

Also, the lady in your Gaithersburg office who I spoke with on the phone to make my appointment was a pleasure to speak with and highly competent. I am, in general, delighted with Precision Door. The Lift Master garage door opener you sold to me is wonderful. Every time my son comes over he remarks about how quiet it is. Cris did the repair of our garage problem. He was very pleasant and friendly. Repaired two motors, springs, and any other problems we had. He had all the equipment to do the job in his van, and did a very good job. He arrived about 2:30 pm and did not leave until the job was complete, and that was about 9:30 that evening. I would give him a 5 star rating.

I do want to share how awesome Keith our technician was. When I called to request a service repair was told the time frame would be 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. That being said we figured we would be the last call for the day. He called to inform us he was on his way at 10:30 am and was familiar with our area. He arrived in 20 minutes. I am on vacation this week, so I informed my husband the technician was on his way. I got a shower came out and he was wrapping up his job. I was amazed he was done so fast. He had me push our garage opener a couple of times just to check his repair. Keith was awesome! Prompt, fast and very professional. He wore his mask the entire time. It’s getting pretty warm out and he was very friendly with a smile too! ( you could see his eyes smiled ????) We will definitely share with our friends about Precision Door! Long story short, broke a spring, called the company I used before , told me Two days before they could come , called Precision . They came out with in 3 hours , Chris ,the tech, went over the door , my door was 32 years old , so the rebuild the entire door and replaced the motor . Everything works great , and did it in about 5 hours , very happy with the work and the price was good , will use them again for sure .
