Keith did a first rate job of installing a new garage door opener at my home in Bethesda. He arrived at the beginning of the four hour "window" that Precision had agreed with me and completed the job in 45 minutes. He took all the discarded pieces of the garage door opener with him and gave me a 10 minute walk through on how to operate and maintain the system. A good guy, to boot. I have no hesitation in giving him a five star rating!

Precision quickly handled our garage door needs. The lift spring snapped and with a call to precision, they were able to send out a technician the following morning. Keith, the technician, called ahead of time, arrived with in the appointment window, and worked quickly to fix our garage door. He then took the time to explain how the spring system worked and how to take care of the door track over time. The price for parts and labor were extremely fair.

I give Precision and Keith, specifically, 5 stars. This is the third time in 5years we have used Precision, and it’s the second time in 3months Keith has responded to,our call. (I’m sure I chose Precision originally off Angie’s List. You probably offered a maintenance special through them. We had a company sticker in the garage that helped me to remember whom to call.). I very much appreciate the way the company tells you who is coming and gives you information about that person, including providing their picture. And I appreciate the marked trucks. Keith came to our home to install new openers just a few months ago, but my husband handled that call, so I had not met him and would not have recognized him. Keith was on time, he communicated with us about his arrival time, he knew exactly what was needed right away. But what I really appreciated was that he thought the broken mechanism might be under warranty and took the initiative to check for that, and indeed it was. I would not have known that—I didn’t even inquire. He could have charged me full price, and I wouldn’t have known the difference. So I appreciate his honesty and initiative on that. Easily 5 starts thanks to Keith. He was courteous, knowledgable and hard working. He explained what was wrong, spring broken. He then carefully and fully explained how he would fix it, what it would cost and how long he would need to finish. Afterwards, he showed me how to maintain it by using the proper lubricant twice per year. Honestly, one of the nicest people I've ever met.

I was delighted with the service from Precision. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The technician diagnosed the broken spring quickly. In addition to making the repair, he showed me how to properly lubricate the new springs as well as the hinges and answered questions I had about wi-fi enabled motors. Very pleased with service received yesterday. My remotes, keypad and automobile transmitter were not opening/closing one of my garage doors. After numerous attempts to resolve the situation myself, I contacted Precision Door staff for assistance. When telephone assistance did not resolve staff put me on to technician for on-site diagnosis and resolution. Tech Keith was on-time and after working through a few scenarios recommended replacement of the door opener. Keith was very thorough in his analyses and diagnosis, explaining pros and cons of various options in a manner that made it simple and logical for me to comprehend. He was very professional and patiently responded to any questions I had. I am very satisfied with his performance and workmanship. I am glad we took his recommendations and replaced both door openers. I'd highly recommend Precision Door Inc. to anyone needing garage door service.

They replaced the broken spring on our garage overhead door the Saturday after it broke. It is a very old door from the 1950’s and took a bit of figuring to make it work. Their technician was friendly, efficient and explained everything ahead of performing the work. I would recommend them.
