First I am pleased with Precision for the ease in scheduling an appointment. I came home on Tuesday night and my garage door wouldn’t go up. I went online and Precision popped up. I was able to chat online and an appointment was scheduled for Wednesday morning. Craig Taylor was the technician that came. He called to let me know that he was on his way, with a time frame. He showed up before the time that he stated, which was great. I had a feeling that I needed a new opener, which was confirmed by Craig. Craig was very polite, friendly and professional. It was a pleasure communicating with him. Further, I like it when service providers know what they are doing, that is Craig. After completion, he instructed me on how to use the remote and wall unit. Overall, I am extremely pleased; my garage door isn’t as noisy as it was before.

I had no items replaced because your guy could not figure out how to install the key pad correctly so he put the old one back and kept having to get pamphlets to read. Remote just needed a battery and had 2 bulbs replaced. He had to program it again when he couldn’t get the new one to work because he couldn’t figure out the wires. I was charged $280 for 2 programming fees???? Disappointed and I went by the reviews and never got a 25 point inspection and will never use again. Overcharged and he needs retraining and he tried to first sale a 1000-1200 system and told me the system I had would be fine. His errors in programming cost me 2 fees?? I should of been charged only one fee for a service call and this was his ideal of saving me money???? Go with another company I wish I had.

Very disappointed. Following what I thought was great service on September 30, we reached out for an appointment today noticing that something didn't seem to be operating correctly and learned that we need to spend an additional $800 on top of what we spent in September. Had we been given complete information at that time, we might have made a different decision.

This is the second time that I used Precision and they again exceeded expectations. The spring in our garage door broke the preceding evening. We called precision and they had a technician, Craig, out to our residence the following morning by 8:15. He provided two options for repair and broke the work down by parts and warranty coverage. Once the decision was made, he efficiently began the repairs. In a timely fashion, the door was back in operation. Craig was friendly and answered all our questions. The work was superb. Thanks again.

Our service tech as polite and prompt. Unfortunately, even though I had discussed the make/model/age (23 years) of our garage door opener to ensure that the Precision Tech would have any necessary parts on his truck, when he arrived...he did not have any parts. He proceeded to say that the best thing is just to replace the entire unit. This was a disappointment, as I had already discussed the desire to repair with their scheduler and the truck arrived with no parts. Cost for 2 replacement units were quoted at $953 (better) and $1165 (best). I cannot rate their install work as we elected to research the proposed models before investing.

I would rate Precision Door Service a "5". The tech, Barry, and his assistant did excellent work after explaining in detail what needed to be done. They went over everything that was performed and asked if I had any questions. They arrived at the time promised and completed the work the same day. Thanks guys.
