Jake was very professional and efficient - great technician! Notwithstanding, I was a little taken aback with the total cost of repairs. Doing a quick Google search, replacement springs are approx. $25-45 for a set of 2 springs. I totally understand your position in the current market place. However, I would recommend a review of operations and production costs to bring down your price points. I paid a little over $900 for the replacement of 4 springs, cables, and rollers. I gave your company 4 stars based solely on customer service from first contact to my interactions with Jake. I would have easily given 5 stars if prices were more reasonable, in my opinion.

In regard to pricing our springs are high cycle and powder coated to give you more cycles (opening & closing) of your door. We use the highest quality parts in the industry and often times prices on the internet are of inferior quality. We stand behind our products with the best warranty in the business, bar none. Our rollers are maintenance free and require no periodic lubrication and will last for the lifespan of your garage door, the cables we use are aircraft quality and thicker than standard cables as well. On 9 June, I discovered that my garage door wouldn't close properly. I went on line and discovered all of the phenomenal reviews for Precision Garage Doors and decided to give them a call. My appointment time was 1530-1800. Sherman and Dakota arrived at 1230. Sherman's knowledge of the other issues that hadn't fully developed yet were amazing. It was a pleasure to have Sherman and Dakota in my home performing preventative maintenance. I wouldn't hesitant to recommend them to my neighbors.

When our garage door spring broke two days ago, I immediately called Precision Door Service. We had excellent work done by Precision in our previous home so I didn't hesitate to call them again. Sherman and Joe arrived first thing Friday morning and immediately diagnosed the problem and addressed some other concerns I had (noisy, old, chain driven opener). Sherman worked up three quotes to give us options. We decided to replace the garage opener, springs, rollers, pulleys, safety cables. Sherman and Joe were professional, informative, efficient, and made sure I understood the capabilities of the new opener before they left. I give them five stars, and I highly recommend Precision Door Service.

Garage door broke Wednesday night, really wasn't sure what happened to it. Called Precision Thursday morning around 10 a.m., was told someone will be onsite between 11 and 1:30. Received a call at 1 stating they were in route. Sherman and Joe arrived and quickly diagnosed my issue. I was given 3 plans of service that they could provide on the spot. Sherman's and Joe's customer service, knowledge and professionalism far exceed my expectations to resolve my urgent situation in a timely manner. I chose Precision because they are close to my residence. The Technician Sherman S. was very professional, courteous and polite. One of the sensors on my garage door wiring came lose from the housing, locking shut my door. Also, I could not use the emergency door opener, because the garage door was binding to the frame which Sherman saw right off. Sherman fixed the problem in a timely manner. If I was his boss, I would give him a raise.

I choose Precision approximately one year ago to purchase new garage door openers. I was very pleased with the service and quality of work. This year I needed the springs and cables replaced. I didn’t hesitate to call Precision for the job. They came out approximately two hours after calling them. The two service guys were very professional and gave me several options to choose for the repair. They went over the pros and cons of each option and didn’t pressure me into choosing the highest price repair. They completed the repair in a timely manner and I and very happy with the service.

The spring in our door broke. Within a couple of hours, the repair personnel (Tristan and a second individual) arrived. They diagnosed the problem, checked the integrity of parts that may have been impacted by the broken spring, and made recommendation for both replacement and improvement of the door opening mechanism. Of the three options presented, we went with the best, which included double springs, cable replacement, end bearing bracket, sturdier bearings, as well as tightening up chain and lubrication of hinges. Tristan explained the recommended maintenance. He was good about explanations and answering all of our questions. Both men were courteous, professional in their demeanor and worked efficiently. We are very pleased with the service.

Mr. Sherman B. Stepney carefully evaluated both garage doors and pinpointed the problem with only one door. We both discussed the terms, conditions and cost for the necessary repair.
