Overall, the service was okay. I was disappointed that the service repair man charged me an extra $200.00 for a tune up, which he said was required in order to replace the plain loop cable. I didn't feel like I had any other choice but to accept that charge because he told me that in order to replace the cable, that he had to loosen the tension on the garage spring and after replacing the cable, he had to tighten the spring, and this is considered a tune-up. I think this should have been considered a part of the job of replacing the cable. I'm still not sure how loosening the spring and tightening the spring can be considered a tune up, however, what could I say. Also, when the repairman was about to leave, he told me that I had to open the garage door manually, because the track was off and he did not have any track with him. After I told him that I had to use the garage door opener and I expected the repair to include correcting the problem, he fixed the track. If my situation wasn't an emergency, I would probably have gotten another estimate to be on the safe side, because when I got the first estimate, he recommended replacing everything with exception of the garage door, which he said would cost me over $1,500. I hope this is helpful.

Craig T. did an OUTSTANDING JOB fixing my garage door. He replaced the belt drive rail assembly, replaced 2 torsion springs, replaced 12 rollers and installed galvanized steel orb oper hook up bracket. I offered him snacks, but he would not stop working. He did not even take bathroom / restroom break. He did not stop working till the job was done. He is very courteous, efficient and professional technician !! In addition: Those personnel who answered the office phone; Amy and Tori were very helpful too!!

I called Precision Garage Door this morning to see when a technician would be available to come to my home to fix my garage door. I was scheduled to have a technician come to my home that same morning between 8 and 12. About 45 minutes after my initial call, I received a call from the technician Nick. Nick arrived at my home on time, and he was very professional and courteous. I showed Nick the issue that I was having with my garage door. Nick took the time to not only asses my immediate situation; but, he also just did an overall assessment of the garage door and all of the operations just to confirm that there were no other issues. After Nick completed his assessment, he presented me with all my options. I selected to just repair the garage door for now. Nick proceeded to do the repair work. Once he completed the work, he showed me everything that he did. He also confirmed that the garage door was still balanced, and that everything else with the door was in proper working order. I also appreciate Nick taking the time to answer all of my questions in great detail, his professionalism, his patience, and his courtesy. Thank you again Nick for fixing my issue, and keep up the good work. When I have a garage door issue, I know who I'm calling. Do you? LOL!!

Chris was very knowledgeable about what went wrong and how he was going to fix it. Chris explained to me step by step what he was doing. Chris was very pleasant to talk to. After he finished he tested the remotes,the keypad, and the garage door three times to make sure everything was working then he had me to try it a few times and ofcourse it was working just fine. He asked if there was anything else I needed and I said that you did everything I asked for.
