I was grossly overcharged for this service! If I had the time to compare services and prices I would have selected another company. The only reason I selected this company was because you could come the same day and I needed to go to work. Perhaps I can gain some opinions on Faceboook and Twitter.

this is the second time I have used your company. Both times I was not present when the repair person came, but my wife was each time. The first time was a broken chain I think (2/11). The repair person sold a new motor. This time was a broken spring. In each case the cost was around $500. My preception is that I am being overcharged. I questioned both service calls and the repair stated that he made both repairs. At this point I will not used Precision again. I feel as if I have been overcharged. I think the reapirs would have been less expensive, but the sales were more profitable for the company.

Technician did nothing to examine opener just gave a high estimate for replacing garage opener. This did not set well with themind of service we were looking for. We will turn to a respectable supplier.

Yesterday, when I googled 'Garage Door Opener Repair, MD', Precision came up with excellent ratings. I called and was scheduled for next day (Saturday) service. THe receptionist was very congenial and professional. Upon receiving the email acknowledging the appointment, I visited the website and read about the technician. This is an excellent feature - getting to know and see who will be coming to your home. Alan arrived within the stated 2-hour timeframe; and immediately assessed the problem. We were given the choice of having a new motor installed today for $550, or waiting until Monday for a new $280 gear - because he didn't have the needed part on his truck. We neither wanted to wait 2 more days for our garage door to work, nor did either of us want to have to miss time at work to have the technician return on Monday. While the new PDS Precision 800 motor was quite pricey compared to the prices I'd seen online for a replacement Craftsman HP 2.0, the Precision is MUCH quieter. We are well pleased with the new garage door opener.

Let's first start off with my scheduled time for my appointment, it was between 11am and 1pm on April 2, 2014 by 12:40 I had not received a call from the Tech or a representative of Precision Garage doors. I called Precision to ask if I was still on the schedule for my appointment I was told that the GM would give me a call back and he personally would come out to fix my garage door. I then received an email thanking me for my business and if my garage was serviced to my liking, but remember no one had not shown up yet.. At 1:25 Tech Alan T finally shows up to fix the door, I was quoted over the phone a price of $49.00 for the service fee and that the spring would be between $90.00 to $200.00 the tech quoted me $560 to fix the door!!!!! I informed the Tech that I had to leave for work at 1:45 he told me that he wished I had called the company back to tell them this so he wouldn't had to drive ALL THE WAY ACROSS TOWN! So if you do decide to use precision make sure you have the hole day to wait at home and wait a inflated quote, and the GM that will never call you back, by the way it's 10:30 pm on April 2, 2014 and I'm still waiting for this call!

Our garage door would not open this morning. When I called Precision for help, Melissa scheduled an appointment for between 1 and 3 PM today. Alan arrived as scheduled and was able to replace the broken springs. He also reattached the door in a much more secure manner and worked with the motor settings so that the door now operates in a much smoother fashion. He was very helpful in demonstrating how to oil the hinges and rollers and made a recommendation for a future repair that will be needed. It is now 3:30 and the work is complete. We are very happy customers who will definitely call on Precision again in the future.

I like how you provide Employee info so the customer will already know who to expect. My experience was good but Alan thought that I needed a new garage door opener. It turns out that he had miss-adjusted it but I was able to properly adjust it a couple of days later. I have never used a service like this so I was surprised to learn that you aren't open on Sundays. It seems like offering some Sunday service would prevent some customers from having to use leave during the week or to have to wait for a Saturday appointment.

I chose to use Precision Door Service to inspect and service my garage door because of their professional website, the customer testimonials, and the guarantee of convenient appointments. Upon making the appointment, Precision sent me an email to confirm the appointment and to let me know the name of the technician assigned to my service call. This extra feature was very comforting. The technician, Alan T., was punctual and professional. He conducted a 25-point safety inspection on my garage door, lubricated the garage door cables, and recommended that I upgrade my garage door with safety cables. (In addition, Alan T. kindly moved a few boxes that were blocking his access to the garage door cables.) The work was completed within an hour. Alan T. provided excellent customer service. Not only was one of the springs broken, but the wooden bracket holding up one side of the door track was also broken. Your technicians are true craftsmen. Precision was recommended by the "Homeadvisor" website. The service was scheduled for 9AM today. I received a call from the office at 9:05AM saying the technician would be late and would call when he was on his way. In the meantime I went to another appointment whereas the technician called at 10:30AM saying he was at the property. I got back to the property in 15 minutes. He diagnosed the issue and made some suggestions such as servicing the current parts and purchasing a new door system. He left the name of your estimator so I can contact the owner to decide what they wanted to do. Technician was knowledgeable.

The technician came and quickly addressed the problem, He fixed it in a matter of minutes, he was very competent. The only small complaint would be that he was a little late but He fixed it so fast that it didn't even matter. If my garage door opener malfunctions again I will call Precision doors again.
