I was quite impressed with the efficient & professional work of technician Abe who not only arrived within the scheduled time but more importantly was able to resolve the issue of my garage door not opening correctly. Good morning! The first service I have had in 12/10/2010 done by Derrick, and that was excellent! This time Barry and Shawn were good also. After they left, my garage door is shutting down and re-opening by itself, without touching nothing, so I called in and talked with Ms. Amber and asked her that it is scary and dangerous and schedule an appointment to have some one come out and check it out what is wrong. So the original estimate was a great experience. I would give it 5 stars. The guy was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed straightforward regarding what would be needed to replace my garage door. I got the estimate and it was more or less competitive with the other estimate I had just received. Again, still 5 stars. But then I call them to ask a few questions and find out how early I could get the replacement scheduled and that I'd give 1 star. I called the only number they have (a 1888 number) and the "scheduling dispatch" while nice enough couldn't do anything for me.... He couldn't answer my question about the quote (he'd have to have someone call me back)... and he couldn't tell me how long it would take before I could have the door installed (i.e. the scheduling dispatch couldn't tell me when they could install the door that they priced for me... again, he'd have someone call me back). Of course at this point I am a bit frustrated and he has the nerve to ask "is there anything else I can do for you" again... he is still pleasant... but calling in was useless... there might as well just be an answering machine because he couldn't help me at all. Needless to say, I think I'm going to go with the other company.

Barry C is a very soft-spoken guy but a power-house of knowledge, skill, and experience. He called and gave and estimated time of arrival. He showed up at the expected time. He explained the problem, how he would fix it, how I can maintain the door, and the price of the repair. Job done in less than 1 hour. Fantastic! I had a broken spring replaced by another company 2 years ago (they replaced both springs at the time), and when one of those springs broke a week ago, of course I went with a different company. Barry was the technician, and was knowledgeable, thorough, and fast! He explained what he had done, showed me how the door was properly balanced, showed me where they had lubricated everything, and we went through several test runs with and without the opener. The prior company I used did none of that. You can tell by just looking at the springs that Precision Garage used a far superior product than what was put on two years ago. And a five-year warranty on the springs is an added bonus!
