We called Precision because the garage door weren't working. We called in the morning, Chris B arrived a few hours later. He assessed the situation, walked us through the problems, and provided options for repair. Chris was Rady to do the repair right then. Our schedule did not permit that. Chris B. came back Saturday morning and completed the job. It's a great company with professional and efficient staff. Thank you Chris B.

Taylor did a great job, he was very professional in his approach and explaining what he was about to do, he had everything he needed to do the job. Since I was in a rush to get this repair done, I accepted the price which by the way I thought it was way to high, but the rush drove me to accept, once finished, I google for more options and found ones half the price of what I was charged, $600 is way to high, found that the national average is $250 to $350 both springs included, labor and materials. Will I recommend Precision? Depends on your urgency!! Do they give good service? absolutely Yes!! Keep up the good work guys but try to bring your prices down a little. Thanks FaRo.

He checked and explained to us the problem, explained our options, we are senior citizens, no pressure answered all our questions. I had an issue that was caused by the installation job from before I bought my house. Precision was quick reply and was able to get someone out the next morning. Dakota did a great job of looking over the entire installation and correcting the core issue to ensure that I didn't have the same problem in the future. He looked over all the parts and pinpointed some areas that could be problems in the future as well to correct them. He was very knowledgable and personable. Without a doubt, I will be calling Precision in the future for any garage door issues.

I've used a few contractors for different services being a homeowner. I also don't normally leave reviews, but I have to say my experience with precision doors was absolutely terrible. I had some work done to my garage door last year that included the cables, springs, and other parts. I used the garage door regularly everyday and initially was satisfied with the work. Last month, the cable snapped when I pulled into the garage. Luckily, the cable was under warranty since it was done by precision doors. The tech (Jake) came out and replaced the door under warranty. Here is wear that terrible customer service starts...the tech gets ready to leave with my garage door not closing. The tech has the nerve to say that the garage door never worked (even though I literally got his advice on how to manually open the garage door to get my car out). To further insult my intelligence, the tech states the work was shoddy and precision would never do it, insinuating that I got someone else to replace the garage door parts. It was the dumbest thing I heard, why would I pay 600+ dollars to replace parts that are already under warranty? It would be like me buying a new Toyota and having Jiffy Lube replace my engine and pay more out of pocket. To top things off, I want to get a tech to make sure my garage door is functioning properly since it's now making a loud noise. I was promised a senior tech, instead they wanted to again send Jake out. I would not recommend precision doors, I still was not able to get my issue resolved.

These guys do good work at a fair value. Their Techs are good and professional. Their installed products seem to last (I had the garage open they installed work for 18 years till it died on me). I also like that they honor the warranties they have obn their springs.....This is the reason I had stayed with them for the last 18 years...

My garage 20 year old Sears door opener was on its last legs, so I called Precision Door Service of Central Maryland hoping that they could replace it on short notice. They did, sending technicians Keith and Max that same day to fix the opener problem. In less than an hour, they installed a new opener and carefully explained how to program and operate it. Keith was really super, patiently answering my questions before leaving. I highly recommend Precision Door Service to anyone needing garage door service and won't hesitate to call them again should the need arise!

The installer, Sherman, inspected both garage door openers, pulleys, springs, etc and identified problems that needed immediate attention. While this was to totally, totally, unexpected surprise and expense, I was extremely please with Barry's professionalism, efficiency, accountability and communication. Personally, I feel like customer service and communication has fallen by the waist side over the past 10 years, however, Barry, definitely bucked that trend. He was on time, a big plus, and explain to me what he was going to do and the pricing for the repairs. While, the pricing did appear to be high, I knew that the repairs were needed and he did a GREAT job in explaining in DETAIL, what he was going to do and why. Pricing aside, I would definitely used Precision Overhead Garage door service and i would definitely request Barry.

I called Precision Door Service when one of the cables broke on the garage door. After looking at some videos on how to replace it, I was thinking about just doing this myself, but in the end I decided to call the professionals, and I'm very glad that I did. The tech was very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job, and he went out of his way to fix some other things that were wrong (needed lube, etc). The garage door works really great now, it's much quieter and operates a lot more smoothly. Thanks very much!

Thank you Precision and especially Francisco Moreno who was prompt, professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem quickly and more importantly was honest about what was required to repair the springs. He also went above and beyond the scope of replacing a broken spring by tightening brackets, rails and lubricating the joints and rollers. I did not expect that. Precision will continue to be my go to garage door service company. As a repeat customer this was very important to me.

I have dealt with Precision for over a 15 years. They are the go to for my garage door service. They have been exceptional. I have had my garage door replaced, my garage door opener replaced, had a keypad installed and had tune ups over the years. Just today I had the fob replaced after 10 years of service. My house is over 25 years old and we all know that the garage door opener and equipment is a wear and tear item that needs periodic maintenance. They are great.
