Barry and Gary came out the day prior to making the repair and gave a price of $300 to make the repair and service fee. While making the repair, Gary told me I would need to buy a part for $90. I was upset because they had quoted one price an then told me another. I am retired and single and went to the bank and took money out of my IRA account and had the check already made out. Barry was very professional and courteous and agreed to make the repair without the extra charge. Gary was rude and incompetent. So I have mixed review. I will stay with Precision and recommend to my neighbors and friends because of Bary and his willingness to make things right. But if Gary was the technician sent out, I would not purchase the service and would not recommend to friends, family and neighbors. Bary made the difference!

I am so extremely pleased with the service performed by Derrick. The professionalism and technical abilities he demonstrated throughout the entire process (from scheduling to payment) were about the best of any company I have ever worked with. In an era when it seems everyone is out to keep the bottom line high without regard for developing a relationship with the customer and demonstrating commitment and pride for the work performed, working with Precision was like a breath of fresh air. Derrick spent a few moments assessing the issue and set to work repairing the problem. He also cleaned and fine tuned the track. To be honest, the doors have never run so quietly and smoothly as they do now. At the conclusion of doing the work, Derek mentioned a few things I could do to help maintain the doors and indicated the rollers may need to be replaced sometime in the next year or so. I elected to have him replace the rollers now, but did not feel any pressure to do so. It is hard to express just how very pleased I am with the service and the company! I will definitely use them again and would refer anyone to their company without any hesitation. Thank you.

These guys were great. For some reason my energy efficient lights messed with my system, they fixed it in a few minutes. And did not even try and nickel and dime me for the diagnostics and time and distance fees. They were professional about calling before arriving, and on time! I really was impressed with the same day service. I was given a window of time and before that time arrived I was telephoned to say that one of the techs called out due to the snow (12/10) but they still fit me in the schedule anyway, they just moved back the time. The tech Derrick was wonderful. He was very professional, knowlegeble and fast. I am just sorry that I did not use them to do the installation in the first place. I know for the future! The entire experience was professional from the first call until the technician left. We were literally locked in the garage unable to get to work and Mike arrived to save the day. We had previously used Overhead Doors and when we called them they couldn't find any of our records and said that someone would get back to us by noon. When Mike was pulling out of the driveway, job completed, Overhead was just calling us back for the first time. Snooze you lose.

I have never had such a positive repair experience! Barry, the repairman, showed up on time, very quickly determined the problem with my broken garage door, and offered reasonable estimates on fixing it vs. installing a new one. Within 1 hour, he had a new one in and running. I kept your company's card in case I ever need service again.

Barry and his helper arrived at the expected time. They found and showed us the significant damage to our present closer and suggested several solutions. We accepted his suggestion about replacing the unit. He came back the next day and replaced the unit, replaced cables and demonstrated the use of the new system. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased.

Things on the website that gave me confidence in Precision were the same-day service guarantee (which ended up being a bit misleading), the detailed info about 'Meet Our Team', and the customer feedback. Barry and Mike came out to repair my garage door which was experiencing a great amount of resistance and was not going up or down properly, even when the opener was disabled. Both gentlemen were EXTREMELY professional. Barry quickly diagnosed the problem, walked me thru the situation, and made specific recommendations as to resolution which included itemized costs. They worked quickly and when they were done my door worked better than it has in the past nine years! Regarding the same-day guarantee as posted on the website: I called a little before 10am but the soonest they could get a tech out was between 3pm-5pm the next day. I asked if that meant the service fee would be waived. After a very long time on hold, it was confirmed that it would be waived. However, when it came time to pay the bill and I questioned why the service fee was listed on the invoice (because I had been told it would be waived) I was told that the waiver couldn't be honored because the service I received was the re-build bundle (kinda like buying the value meal at McD's) and if the service fee was waived then I would need to pay for the re-build a la carte. So, in the end, there was no compensation for having to wait until the next day for service - I would have paid the same amount of money for the same service whether or not they came yesterday or today. I purposefully did not call another company to schedule same-day service (once I learned Precision couldn't come until the next day) thinking that I was being compensated $50 for waiting a day. I understand needing to be able to make a profit without giving away the shop but the same-day service guarantee is very misleading.

Very happy with the customer service and technician, two calls to let me know the status of the technician's arrival eventhough he was still going to arrive within the 2 hour window.
