When our garage door spring broke two days ago, I immediately called Precision Door Service. We had excellent work done by Precision in our previous home so I didn't hesitate to call them again. Sherman and Joe arrived first thing Friday morning and immediately diagnosed the problem and addressed some other concerns I had (noisy, old, chain driven opener). Sherman worked up three quotes to give us options. We decided to replace the garage opener, springs, rollers, pulleys, safety cables. Sherman and Joe were professional, informative, efficient, and made sure I understood the capabilities of the new opener before they left. I give them five stars, and I highly recommend Precision Door Service.

Garage door broke Wednesday night, really wasn't sure what happened to it. Called Precision Thursday morning around 10 a.m., was told someone will be onsite between 11 and 1:30. Received a call at 1 stating they were in route. Sherman and Joe arrived and quickly diagnosed my issue. I was given 3 plans of service that they could provide on the spot. Sherman's and Joe's customer service, knowledge and professionalism far exceed my expectations to resolve my urgent situation in a timely manner. My door was restored back to its functionality and I am completely satisfied.

Mr. Sherman B. Stepney carefully evaluated both garage doors and pinpointed the problem with only one door. We both discussed the terms, conditions and cost for the necessary repair. The door was making a jerking move and roaring sound at the beginning of the opening process. Mr. Stepney identified the problem as needing an adjustment of the spring for the down limits. I authorized him to perform the service and afterwards, the door worked perfectly. Mr. Stepney is a highly qualified professional who knows his business. No one will communicate with you about any problems after their service call is finished. They installed 10-4” sealed nylon rollers that retail for around $11-$15 for 10. I found this out later but on my bill they changed $19.99 each for a total of $199.99. I thought the technician made an error so I contacted them on two occasions and they promised a call back with a resolution. They still haven’t called and the work was done on 1/28/19.

I was able to schedule a service tech (Sherman) for a garage door opener install the next day. He was very pleasant and professional. Took about 2 hours to remove the old opener and install the "very quiet" Liftmaster 8355W opener, setup (program) all remotes, and cleanup. I added his phone number to my contact list and would request him for additional repair work.

Although the service was good it was VERY expensive, Over $500 for 2 new springs, rollers and cable on one door.... the parts cost about $150 max, the serviceman was only at my home one hour. I couldn't even get the $50 service charge credited. Merry Christmas

The coil spring snapped last night. When I got home from my meeting and couldn't get the garage door to open, I went to check it out. The spring was broken. I called Precision's phone number expecting to get a recording, and a live person answered. I told her my problem, and she scheduled it for the next afternoon, in the time-slot I wanted. The service tech came out, and replace both springs in less than an hour. I was up and running in less than 24 hours. Thank you for great service.
