Hello Mike, I saw your ad on TV a couple of days ago and thought you might be the right company. Your video didn't show a conventional door opener which got me to thinking these guys know something. I had to wait for your ad to play again because it was a short commercial. Nevertheless I have Air ducts running right across the middle of my garage and after calling about 6 company's I got tired of no it can't happen or they couldn't do it. I gave up until I saw your commercial. Keith came buy and was very professional. He assessed the job and measured, took pictures and asked me questions what type of cars do I plan on parking in the garage. Plus went over what I wanted and then told me what is possible. Gave me an estimate with everything he discussed and he even conferred with colleague to ensure he was giving me accurate information. Jake was very professional and efficient - great technician! Notwithstanding, I was a little taken aback with the total cost of repairs. Doing a quick Google search, replacement springs are approx. $25-45 for a set of 2 springs. I totally understand your position in the current market place. However, I would recommend a review of operations and production costs to bring down your price points. I paid a little over $900 for the replacement of 4 springs, cables, and rollers. I gave your company 4 stars based solely on customer service from first contact to my interactions with Jake. I would have easily given 5 stars if prices were more reasonable, in my opinion.

In regard to pricing our springs are high cycle and powder coated to give you more cycles (opening & closing) of your door. We use the highest quality parts in the industry and often times prices on the internet are of inferior quality. We stand behind our products with the best warranty in the business, bar none. Our rollers are maintenance free and require no periodic lubrication and will last for the lifespan of your garage door, the cables we use are aircraft quality and thicker than standard cables as well. The two techs arrived on time and were friendly and competent. They diagnosed the problem quickly and determined the extent of damaged from the failed spring. They provided a Better and Best proposal. We went for the Best to get the extended warranty. Installation went smoothly and they ensured the garage door sealed well all the way around. All-in-all and excellent job in a reasonable amount of time. The reason for four (almost three) instead of five stars - pricing! Installing two springs and three brackets and making the necessary adjustments (45 minutes) should not cost $850!! The homeowner is in a tight spot when the garage door doesn't work - a bit of a captive audience!

We were very happy with the quality of the work performed on the purchase and installation of our garage door. The technician was courteous and professional, and very efficient, getting everything installed in around 2 hours. The only downside was that the appointment was scheduled for 1pm and he did not arrive to 4pm due to the previous job taking longer than expected.

Around Spring 2011 the garage door was bend due to a cheap building materials when the builder built townhouses around 2000. I had to replace/install a better quality garage door and included hardwares. However, I called recently to replace a broken garage door spring which it was under 10 years warranty for hardwares and lifetime garage door. Make sure you keep a copy of your service/repair invoice in hand as when I called in for service as they did not have any record history in the past. Otherwise, Precision Overhead Garage Door Service did a great service that honor anything what I have in my record. A technician did a great job as he contacted me via text and get it done in about 30 minutes within a smaller window time frame.

I called Precision to replace the motor in my garage and was pleasantly surprised that Garry was able to come out the following morning. Garry was very courteous and explained my options and pricing for my job. He also identified an issue with my spring and explained why it would be important to fix. He did a thorough job and walk me through all the features of my new opener. The reason why I only gave four stars was that I was a bit disappointed to learn after the install that my new system did not include the backup battery nor a lightbulb. It was easy enough for me to install the lightbulb myself; however, I was informed that in order to get the battery put in I would have to call back an installer for an additional charge. I figured that with a new unit it would come complete with everything for full operation.

Thank you for your comments and your business. The battery backup is a different type of motor, but we are glad you are happy with the one you purchased. Our techs usually have light bulbs on their trucks, in case the customer doesn't have one,. We will address that in our training sessions.
They were on time, efficient and fixed the problem (spring and rollers). The only reason I did not give them a 5 was because of cost. I would have loved to have had the job done at a cheaper cost. After the fact, I searched around for comparable services and believe I may have been able to get the job done cheaper elsewhere. However, I caution my thinking because the materials I may have received could be top notch &/or other companies' services could be shabby. For me, it's my lack of knowledge.

I chose Precision because they installed for me a new garage door back in March 2015 and I was very happy with the fine job that was done. However, I was having a problem with the door closing; it would stall - come part of the way down and then go back up. The technician, Brian, was supposed to be at my home between 8 AM and 12 PM. He did not arrive until after 1:30 PM. I had to call back twice to confirm that he was still coming. But once he got here, he immediately identified the problem and was able to fix it. He explained to me the cause of the problem. I appreciated that and was relieved. Hopefully, we won't have that problem again. I appreciate that I was able to get an appointment on the same day that I called. Thank you!

I had my broken spring replaced on one of my garage doors. Everything was completed in about 30 minutes. I am satisfying with the service you provided. The only thing I don't like is the price of the parts, I think it's too expensive (Spring $200, Center bearing $45+ labor). If the spring break again, I might well buy me a new garage door.

Good morning, Just want to say Thank you!! Monday mornings come too soon, especially yesterday. The main spring for our SINGLE double garage door snapped. I having a 7:30 appointment, my husband is long gone of course and I panicked. The door is over 400 lbs, need I say more! Calling my husband for HELP!!! Within 20 mins, an appointment was confirmed by email along with a time line that was FANTASTIC 8 -12 on MONDAY the same day. Hard to believe that customers still do matter. Also, the email included Technician's name and photo. That was wonderful. The entire morning went the same way. I received a call about an hour later, surprise! Oh yes the man Berry C was for real. Said he would be there at a certain time and yes he was on the minute. He was very well groomed, introduced himself and said we could get everything taken care off. He walked me through what he was going to need to do to take care of my problem. He didn't think it was a problem, so I feeling pretty good at this point. He said all the right things. I could tell he was a truly qualified professional in his industry. He gave me a cost estimate and time line to finish before the work started. Everything was perfect. I failed to mention how organized and clean his truck was, good to see. Mike did not explain to me, when I mentioned problems with the button outside the door not responding as I had been accustomed to previously, that it was a separate job I would need to make another request for, as I would have done. He treated it as if it wasn't important. I'm willing to pay for that. For now I can only use the remotes, and I need to always have one handy.

Our service tech Brian was great and knowledgable. I called on a Sunday night and someone from the company answered and scheduled my visit for the next day. Great service. The only suggestion, I was told the service call included the programming of my device, however, I learned from our tech that we are charged per device for programming. Thats the only difference between 4 star and 5 star for me.

Keypad replacement under warranty should be free of charge. The persons who came did a nice job, except forgetting to set up Password of the second opener. None of the service performed below can be chosen and without it error appears, so I choose one of them at random.

The technician they sent was quick and courteous. He didn't sell things that weren't necessary. The difference in performance is night and day. One minor issue... For what i spent in door repairs (over 900), i wish he would have suggested replacing the door. if the prices were anywhere in the same ballpark, i definitely would have chosen a new door.

Barry and Gary came out the day prior to making the repair and gave a price of $300 to make the repair and service fee. While making the repair, Gary told me I would need to buy a part for $90. I was upset because they had quoted one price an then told me another. I am retired and single and went to the bank and took money out of my IRA account and had the check already made out. Barry was very professional and courteous and agreed to make the repair without the extra charge. Gary was rude and incompetent. So I have mixed review. I will stay with Precision and recommend to my neighbors and friends because of Bary and his willingness to make things right. But if Gary was the technician sent out, I would not purchase the service and would not recommend to friends, family and neighbors. Bary made the difference!

He explained to me the details of the work and what is covered in the warranty. He did a super job installing and getting the door properly balanced. I am very happy with the work that was done.
